Airtel — unable to call a toll free number [protected] after changing my prepaid plan to a 70 day unlimited plan. | |||
Hello, I’ve been using this prepaid Airtel number [protected] for almost last 4 months. I’m facing a sudden issue since last one month after I changed my plan from 28 days to 70 days plan. The issue is that I’m unable to call a toll free number [protected]. It was all well before I changed my plan. After enquiring in Airtel showroom, they said I will be able to call if I add a little balance as mine is an Unlimited plan. So, if I recharge for 20 rupees etc., it is working just once but it doesn’t allow me to call the number again. Interestingly my colleagues having same plan are able to call with no issues. Please provide clarification and next steps for resolution Does Airtel charge for Toll Free numbers? Also would Unlimited plans not allow to call Toll Free numbers? I also have frequent Call drop issues I followed up multiple times on [protected]@in.airtel.com from krishnarao.[protected]@gmail.com but very poor and worst service.
