Airtel — Unable to send SMS/ receive calls

Been 5 months since I'm using Airtel. When ppl using Airtel try to reach me it says the Vodafone number you are calling has been discontinued. I am trying to port my number since a month now and my SMS service has been blocked I am unable to send an SMS
