Airtel — unknown bill amount and harassment by airtel to pay it without the bill break up

Hi,

I recently purchased an airtel connection - postpaid service 399/month (Infinity pack) mid november 2017. After the first month (November 2017) i paid the bill and activated isd services to australia and the airtel representative told me the charges are rs.12/minute. I made a call to an australian number on 13th dec and was on hold for 12 minutes after which i dropped the call. After that airtel disconnected my outgoing service for 15 days and constantly called and harassed me to pay a bill of rs.2364. When i asked why they said "you have to pay it", they could not give me a bill as they said the system will generate the bill only on 2nd january but they will terminate my services right away starting 14th december. The isd service was active only for 3 days or so from memory.

Today, on the airtel app i see the total bill is rs.3258. The bill summary only shows an amount of rs.392.36. I am not sure why airtel is charging me the above amount? When i ask customer care for call details and why the above price they have no information on that. They keep repeating that i have to pay it. I feel mentally harassed by airtel for no real reason and inadequacy from the side of airtel to provide correct information.

Can someone please help me out on this? Why would a 12 minute call to australia cost rs.3258? Did the airtel representative provide false information that it is rs.12 per minute?

Request you to help me out with this as i am very disappointed with airtel, their customer service and unacceptable charges.

Airtel has barred this service without intimation. When Airtel asks a client to pay Rs.3258, as a client I am entitled to know the reason behind the amount quoted. If the bill shows 15 minutes of call when only 12minutes of call was made and the tariff on the bill is not printed and none of the Airtel customer service representatives are able to clarify the cost per minute of call to Australia then on what basis can Airtel expect a client to pay some random amount ?
