I am using airtel account (Same number) for more than 12 years. Last 3 months, i am getting messages regarding activation of value added services (Vas). I have not requested any services but suddenly receiving messages and charged against my bill. Last month, my bill amount got doubled and went to rs.1200.
I had registered a complaint to airtel and they said i need to send mail or call customer support to get a waiver of the charges every time.
This is practically impossible to call customer support or mail to stop the service and get a waiver off. Also services are getting renewed every week if not monitoring and deactivating the services.
Today also one service got activated and charged rs. 35 for one week. I have not requested for this service (Didn't send any mail or call or sms for activation). Also i have not clicked any add in web pages.
How these services are getting activated without customers request / knowledge? I had asked airtel for a permanent solution. But no solution.
