The most unethical customer care and worst customer care service.
I had a family plan where in i had 3 child number and i wanted to change my plan to a different family plan, i called the customer care number on 3rd at 9:30pm. The customer care person changed it to a completely different plan and when he could not rectify it, he gave it to his manager who was a lady and she told it was not possible to make changes and i had to change it in my next billing cycle. All my child numbers which i was paying 199 per year i had to pay 299 permonth. Which i asked them to change it atleast in the next billing cycle themselves atleast to the current as i will have to pay 600rps extra.
I wanted to port my wife's number from vodaphone to airtel and had raised a request for the same which was not even taken.
The female was asked me to call in the next billing cycle and abruptly cut the call. So i decided to port one of my number to vodaphone and raised a request for porting so that i can have a airtel and a vodophone number.
I got a call from airtel relationship manager on august 8th "[protected]" who asked me to reconsider shifting my number, i told about my experience with the customer service and he cut the call.
On tuesday at 2:00 pm i got a call from "[protected]" this time a lady
And this is what she had to say
"yes, our customer care service people are rude, if you change your number / port your number to a different network"i"will ensure that you will never get any proper service once you get back to airtel"
This call lasted 1min 11 secs. Post this call i shifted all the number that i hold including all my family members number to vodaphone
I was taking airtel service from 2012 and monthly i used to pay close to 7000 per month for my bills which includes "broadband and 7 mobile numbers"
The only reason that i pay so much is because of the service and the trust that i used to have with airtel, and i got the quality of service yesterday such careless attitude and ridiculous service was something that was least expected.
I was supposed to port 1 number from vodaphone to airtel and your customer service ensured that i port 6 number from airtel to vodaphone.
Thanks to the lady all my bills are halved now with vodaphone,
I have ported 6 numbers to vodaphone and 7th one i will definitely port tomorrow.
And i am looking to change even the broadband services.
