Airtel's chatbot mistook and wrongly activated IR data pack of 14999 while my request was for IR plan of 365 days which they could not activate at the time of request due to a technical glitch at their end ( attached for reference)
On April 4th, immediately after the wrong activation within minutes, I have reported it to the customer care . They updated me that it is sent to backend team for removal.
On 5th April when I made a follow-up call for knowing the status, their customer care executive confirmed me that there is no data pack active now and it is removed assuring me that I wont be charged.
Bill generated on 8th April included charge of Rs.17698/- for the data pack as well including GST.
I wrote to 121 and appellate as well. They are just copy pasting same text without answering to the point on why bill included this when I was assured that it would be removed.
On the advise of having a whatsapp chat with dedicated IR customer care, I tried . They just say "Hi, this is so and so, how can I help you today " and when I brief the issue, they just vanish, do not answer anything .
5 times they did the same, Very carelessly. In between one simple reply of " Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you, bill is generated and we can not process your request " which is like, mistake is there but you have to pay it/ Was this information helpful? |
