[Resolved]  Arvind Mills — Arrow Brand Sport Shirt - defect - reg.

I wish to bring to your notice a manufacture defect observed with the new shirt - ARROW SPORT - purchased from the retail out let in the FOCUS MALL, Calicut, Kerala last week for RS.1599/-. The shirt is checkered one and and the horizontal stripes in the back piece is not matched to appear in line with the shoulder piece and this defect is glaringly visible when seen from the rear. The line is too inclined at the left side and is giving a bad look. I did not probe for defects when selecting the piece as I am a regular customer of your brand and keep full faith in your products and normally do not even open the pack. However this piece perhaps has escaped the vigilant eyes of your quality assurance department. I therefore seek your advice in this matter as to how to get this resolved and what should be done further. The retail shop is about 90 kms. from my residence and as a retired person I find it difficult to travel that far for this. Please advise me further in this regard. Awaiting a favorable reply. This is regarding misbehavior /cheating of Mr Himanshu your floor manager at
Arrow-Arvind Brands No.G-38, Gound Floor, Ambi mall Ambience Island NH-8
Gurgaon.

I am not satisfy with the quality of Blazer .I want my money back.
I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the poor service/quality of products at your clothing store, Ambi
mall Ambience Island NH-8 Gurgaon (Haryana). I am writing this letter to conveymy extreme displeasure at the faulty products and lack of service at your store.

I went to your store on 16-08-14 and purchased 2 blazer & 4 shirts (with an offer of buy one get one) wide Bill
No A23IN410580 of Rs 13297/ with a commitment of product Exchanged. Next day I went to exchange one blazer but they refused to exchange it stating that it is against companies’ policies.

And gave his denial in writing on retail invoice (copy of which is enclosed).

On insisting Mr. Himanshu agreed to exchange the clothes with a condition that change clothes are charged on MRP and I have to purchase more than exchange prize.

A new blazer with a payment of Rs 299 wide bill no A231N410663 dated 17/08/14 in cash was exchanged but the
Blazers were without inner lining.

But I am not satisfy with the Quality of Blazer .I want my money back.

The lack of professionalism and Ill-mannered behavior of your department staff and salesperson has ensured that
I will never visit Arrow-Arvind Brands again.

Such unfriendly behavior was not expected from such an esteemed store like Arrow U.S.A & Arvind Mills

Kindly look into the matter and take
Necessary action.

Dear Sir,
I had recently purchased several arrow shirts from Arrow shop on the 1st Floor, North Wing, R City Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai. It is disappointing to report that one of the shirts is defective. As you can see in the attached pictures, the button and its socket are misaligned. After having paid more than two thousand rupees just for the assurance of a trusted brand, this is really below average quality. I have been a regular buyer of your brand and this is the first time I have been sold a defective shirt. I leave it up to you to resurrect the loss of faith in your brand and provide me a replacement because that shirt cannot be worn at any cost. If you fail to provide a replacement, I am certainly going to make sure I leave a dent in your image worldwide and prevent co-buyers from getting cheated again.

Dear All,
I have purchased an Arrow Sport USA shirt from Arrow shop in Mumbai and paid Rs. 2500. There was a defect in the shirt which is not possible to repair. I have sent photos and several mails to their company but have got no response. I want to share this with all of you to avoid being cheated like me. This company is actually an Indian company based in Bangalore and not form USA as the name claims to be. I believe this company is a third grade company which gets it shirts stitched from tailors sitting by the roadside. If it was a big company which had anything to do with good quality products, this shirt would never have passed their quality check procedures. It is my request to all of you please share this mail to your friends to avoid being cheated. These so called big brands should really get the stick and get financial losses so they stop cheating in broad daylight.
