Blue Dart Express — Unethical business practice by Bluedart | |
This is in regards to waybill number : [protected] I had ordered for a cash pickup via bluedart on Monday[protected]. The delivery was within Bangalore, from Pincode : 560017 to Pincode : 560103. When I asked Bluedart customer care for the estimated time of delivery, the response was 1 day or at max 2 days. Since it was an urgent delivery, I agreed and the pickup was done as per schedule on[protected]. The cash was collected promptly. On[protected], however, the status of that delivery changed to Delay caused beyond control. When I asked for an explanation, I was told it will be delivered tomorrow. On[protected], when the status did not change and I called the customer care number, I was told the courier will not be delivered till the lockdown is lifted by the government and if it's urgent I should go and pick up the courier from the warehouse. I would like to have answers for the following questions: 1. If Bluedart knew that there is a lockdown and the delivery won't be possible, then why was the package picked up in the first place with a false promise of next day delivery? 2. I had to go to the Bluedart warehouse in the middle of the lockdown to collect the courier. Please explain why bluedart created this situation of harassment and forced me to go out in a lockdown and more importantly in a pandemic. Along with the response to the above questions I want Bluedart to refund Rs 1267.00/- collected from me under the false pretext of delivering the courier urgently. Was this information helpful? | |
