My name is Rishabh Mathur residing currently in Ahmedabad. Today I am sharing a case that happened with me recently.
Blue Mountain Resort & Hospitality LLP. The company claims to provide access to 4 star/ 5 star hotels free of cost for some years depending on the membership plans. I joined their silver plan where I should have access to their 4 star/ 5 star partner hotels for 3 years in which I can enjoy the 21D/21N hotel bookings at free of cost. I joined this plan for 50000 rupees. I had paid 25000 first on Emi basis.
When I needed a hotel for the first time my request for a hotel was rejected as they told me that hotel booking can only be done if they are informed well in advance. I had to book a hotel myself.
Next time I mailed them requesting for a hotel room. This time they informed me that the booking request can’t be taken 20-25 days before the check in date.
Then I mailed them only 20 days before the check in date. This time they offered me only a single choice.( they claimed to provide so many choices at the time of seminar).
What could I do? I had to go with the option and asked them to proceed with the booking.
Now they come up with something new again. They asked for the annual maintenance charges(5999 rs) and breakfast charges also. Since I was informed about ASF at the time of seminar also, this was fine but I simply rejected the breakfast choice and asked for the room booking only. Now they are not accepting the booking without breakfast charges.
I am now sure that this is a scam in which they will ultimately suck out more money. I complained to their customer support also. They also rejected my booking and are asking for breakfast charges ( which is way higher as compared to what is offered on other online platforms ).
I asked for a refund of my entire money which they rejected as it’s mentioned in T&C also that money is non-refundable. My money is stuck.
I feel this to be a very sophisticated way of extortion by white collar companies.
I say that we all come together and file complaints cumulatively against this company. We can't just let go of their frauds.
