My house owner is now asking me to pay the rent for another extra month rent for april to may 2019. However, i have paid him the advance money for the same of rs10, 000/- at january 2019 and the rent for the month. Apart from this, he is asking me to pay 50% of the painting cost he invested, which is another rs10, 000/-. I have the proof in whatsapp asking for the same amount. Let me know what to do in this case?...

It's been 15days i took a room on rent with my husband. According to landlords terms and policies we paid the advance rent of the house as well as all the required documents.
