The passport applications were done for my parents on 16 sep 2011 bearing file reference CAL-A[protected] and CAL-A[protected] from RPO Kolkata.Within 1 month we received verification call from local police stn(Aurobindo thana,Durgapur) and they cleared the same from their side and forwarded it further from their end.Now the appln bearing ref no CAL-A094215 is showing status as 'police report clear and exp to be dispatched by 18 jan 2011'...

I applied for fresh passport on 01.04.2010. Police verification was done on 02.03.2010 from Lake Town Police Station. The police officer told me that as the place of birth is not under their jurisdiction local police will do that.
Till now no verification was done or no enquiry has yet been conducted by local Police station of Pudooah (Dist :Hooghly) for verification of my birthplace at Vill.-Sanchitara, P.O: Bellon, P.S.:Pudooah...

mashee alam had applied for a passport vide application no. A010246 on the 8th.of Feb'2010 his police verification has also been done but his status on net still shows as police report not received it is hereby requested to please expedite the process so that he may get his passport immediately

I applied for my passport on 6th October 2008. My application number is CAL-A[protected]. My police verification was done in Decemeber and then in February. I had two verification since I was not staying in my current residence for last 1 year. The police verification was atlast over after 4 months and the police report was sent to from the district DIO office (Barasat) on 5th March 2009. Till date i.e. even after almost 4 months RPO office...
