when the police is going to stop this kind of skam

I recived email BMW CAR PROMOTION WITH WINNING 890000GBP . This winning cheque send through diplomat MR.RICHARD COOKER but at air port custom charges demand 550 US DOLLARS DEPOSIT AT ICICI BANK ACCOUNT outside at THE AIRPORT MR.SALEEM USMAN KHAN ICICI BANK ANDHERI BRANCH (W) ACCOUNT NO O[protected] PAN NO BJBPK3621G MOBIL [protected] this is fraud/scam yes or no

i qazi najed also was told the same story of winning the prize money seven hundered thosand pounds with winning bmw car THE CALLER WITH NO [protected] calling me to pay custom duty for the parcel which have money payment should done at hdfc bank of 32000/- indian rupee beware of all this and dont get into the trap

Yes such e-mails have been received by me more than once and really they are spam because if a company like BMW woud like to promote its brand then it would
announce the award publicly and even it wont ask u to pay for the "taxes" at all,
which are meager.

I have received many mails and I have interacted through mails with the people who are pretending to be the directors of PROMOTION DEPARTMENT OF
THE BMW AUTOMOBILE COMPANY.
