[Resolved]  Maruti Swift Dzire — Maruti Suzuki Dzire Booking Problems

I have been trying to book a Maruti Swift Dezire VXI from the last few days, and am going through the a harrowing experience with the Dealers. I first went to Pratham Motors at Outer Ring Road to book the car. They refused to take a booking and told me that Maruti has stopped taking booking of Swift Dezire cars. When I put pressure on them they told me that they can take the booking but the delivery would take 9 months. They had 2 weeks back told me that the delivery would take 3 months, which was also long, but I was ready to accept it. But last week they told me that they would be able to deliver in 9 months. I was also surprised by their behavior.

I then called up the Maruti call center and spoke to Jiten, He told me that there was no stop from Maruti’s end on booking for Dezire and the delivery period was much earlier than 3 months. He took my mobile no. and promised me that somebody would be calling me at the earliest. But till now there is no call.

After that I spoke to multiple other dealers in Bangalore for the booking but every body was mentioning that the delivery would take 4 to 6 months. When I spoke to Mr. Anil from RNS Motors, Yesthwantapur. He told me that they could deliver the vehicle in 3 months time, I was relived and asked him to send a person to take the booking immediately. But nobody came for the booking till afternoon. Then I had to call Mr.Anil multiple times. Then at last in the evening he promised that one sales executive would reach my home late in the evening.

At last at 8 PM one Sales Executive from RNS Motors Bomanhalli reaches my home, gives me a price and tells me that there are no discounts and any freebees. I agree to the same and fill the booking form. After filling the form when I was giving him a cheque of Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, he refused to take it and said that the Booking amount for the Swift Dezire is Rs.1, 00, 000/-, which is fixed by Maruti. I asked him to show me documentation to this effect, he was unable to show any documentation. After that I spoke to the Sales Manager, of RNS Motors Bommanhalli and also with Mr. Anil from RNS Motors Yeshwantpur the accept Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, but they FLATLY REFUSED.

After that I also called the Maurti call center again and spoke to Mr. Danish, and asked him if Maruti had fixed the booking amount of Rs.1, 00, 000/- for the Swift Dezire. He told me that Maruti had not fixed any thing of this kind and he would take it up with the concerned authorities. I asked him for the phone nos. of the Regional Manager at Bangalore of his mail id. He refused to give them to me and just gave a email id [protected]@maruti.co.in.

At end of all this experiences I feel very disturbed with the way I was treated by the Maruti dealers. The attitude they have is like they have a monopoly and can take the customers for a ride. My not buying a Maruti car will not make any difference to a big company like Maruti. I just wanted to check with Maruti if this the way the want their dealers to treat customers and claim to be the Winner of J.D.Power Customer Satisfaction awards, year after year.

I had sent the entire above details to the email id provided by the call center and also put in the details in their web site. I got a reply mentioning that the complaint has been sent to the concerned department and they would get back to me. 5 days had passed and there was no reply. So I sent a reminder mail.

Some body then called from the call center and was taking the details when the line got disconnected. He did not bother to call me again after that. This is kind of service we get from the leading Car Manufacturer in India.

Maruti Swift Dzire — unusual delay in procuring the car

I wanted to buy swift Dzire Vdi.From last 1 month I have been going from one dealer to another but no one is ready to take booking or if anyone takes says delievery period is 9 months.When they are asked about the no. of bookings they do not give you the figure as they demand premiums for the same and there is no transparency in their working.Either the compny should take the bookings in their hand or ask the dealers to be transparent in their dealings and tell the customers the exact no. of bookings.Various dealers I approached were Chittosho Motors Chandigarh, Berkeley Mohali, Tricity Autos Zirakpur, Ekansha Ambala, Goel motors Solan, Goel motors Shimla, Vehicleleads Kangra

Swift Dzire — malpractices of maruti Dealer

Dear Sir/Mam.

This is to inform you that I have been using Maruti Car from last many years and wanted an Updation from my existing model i.e. Zen to Swift Dzire.

I am based in Rudrapur and contacted your captioned dealer of Moradabad for the booking of the said car on 8/05/08 and booked a Swift Dzire. I was committed the delivery in the next one month from the date of booking as mentioned above.

I also paid 1, 00, 000 Rs at the time of booking via Receipt No REC08000408. Till date I have not received the car and every time I have been told that the delivery will take time and you can take your refund if you wish.

I seriously believe that this car model is being sold off in black as much as (Rs 50, 000 to 60, 000) by the dealer to the customers whose booking date is much later than mine. I have confirmed this from different reliable sources also.

I have faced a typical problem...
Rear seats of Dzire are of poor quality and in case of a real hard jump on road a u feel a hard metal on your bum
Esp on left rear seat.
what should be done.
dealer says notjing can be doe
shocks are not upto the mark. you feel the thud sound for small potholes.

can't campare this with ford atleast for ride and passenger comfort. ford is far ahead of dzire
in ride and quality.

shocks in ford are very good and takes shock very well

Swift Dzire — Delivery Woos

Hi,

I had booked Swift DZire in May 2008, wherein i was promissed that the car will be delivered by first week of August.
On following up with the dealer in August, i was told that the car will be delivered by 20th - 25th August 2008, and i was advised that i should get my loan documentation done, take the drawdown and submit the payment cheque. Accordingly, i took the loan drawdown on 22nd August 2008, however the car was not delivered to me.

At present, first EMI cheque will be banked on 7th September and i have been informed that the car will be delivered in another 10 days time. Now i am stuck since i dont have car and have to pay for the follies of other. I dont to what to do... please avise.

I'm a proud owner of a maruti swift dezire I purchased it on 15-5-08 and till now did 6500 kms and no complaints is shown but it is heard that maruti has stopped the production of swift dezire due to various complaints and I feel very much disappointed hearing this. Is it true please reply

when ever i go with a client or a customer who wants to buy a maruti car we ask for a test drive and what we have observed that the test drive vehicle is only used by the owners of B.M.Auto link previously the cars they were using were maked with test drive vehicle now they have so much guts they have removed the sticker saying test drive and now when we ask for a test drive they say we dont give any test drive nor the company has supplied us with any test drive vehicle ...this is funny but so much true, , , , , seing is believing...4 test drive vehicles and all are being used by directors of B.M.Autolink

Finallllly.. the day has come..one of my good dream come true last sunday...guess what friends. i have got the delivery of my DZIRE VDI(White) after waiting for 3.5 months..when i have booked the dzire the showroom person has given me 22nd NOv(Approx 6 months) the the date of delivery. but i got my rocket soo early...it was realy not expected..
one thing i would like to share with you guys who are still waiting for there dream machines, IT IS REALY WORTH WAITING FOR THE VEHICLE...i flyed my car 300 KM in 4 days and i find it the very good car in the deasel segment... very good pick up and a smoth run.. i just love to drive it..

Good to hear that you got your dream car earlier than expected. Happy driving. Could you give details which city and dealer you had booked the car.
I have purchased Wagon R Lxi bearing chassis No.- 446427 and Registration No. DL-9CM-9651 on 29-09-06. M/S Competent Automobiles CO. Ltd. Mehrauli has done all the services free/paid. Today i.e. on 13-09-08 I took my vehicle for some complaints, to the workshop and I was shocked to see the mismanagement and behavior of the staff of M/S competent motors. The work manager Mr. Khan was not able to control his staff, no supervisor was available and a very big queue of vehicle was there and no one was ready for the inspection of vehicles. Preparation of Job card took one hour and the service/repair work done was of very poor quality. Again a very big queue was there on the counter, for the preparation of bill and there was also mismanagement and the staff was misbehaving with the customers. The preparation of the bill took one hour. Regarding this mismanagement and the misbehavior of the staff, I met with the work manager Mr. Khan and told him that I will make a complaint to MUL regarding this, his reply was “You can, who cares”
In view of the above I suggest your good self to have a surprise visit of the workshop and stop such type of acts, which gives a bad name to MUL. As you are very well aware, this is a time of competition and at this time the harassment and misbehave to the customer by your authorized dealer proves to be very dangerous to MUL. I hope you will take appropriate action.

I had given my car to Pallavi motors at Guwahati for the last free servicing on last Saturday. But while checking I found that the spare tyre of my car was replaced with a old one. My car no is AS01 AE 8956.
When we protested they had given us in writing that they will give back our tyre later on.

I purchased my Maruti Suzuki swift from M/s Rohan Motors in sarita Vihar in New Delhi in the year 2005.I care a lot of my and duly get service time to time and its very close to my heart.

However, I am very disappointed with the Maruti Service Centre M/s Rohan Motors located in Badarpur New Delhi.I gave my car for the first service at the service centre;when i reached to pick the car i found that the driving side rear door was dented. I called the service manager col.Qurashi and he accepted it and told me to get the door re- painted, but i refused and left the matter.

However, Last week i gave my car for repair of bumpers(front and back) and lower potion of the door(left hand side).After confirming i went to pick the car and found bumpers 're painted as told to him but lower potion was not and bonnet was painted which was neither told nor discussed with Mr.Sagar.After complaining he accepted his fault then also left the matter and asked me to come after 2 days.Todays again when i went to pick the car, i was astonished to see my car front glass was broken two of the driving sides were painted without my knowledge, i was shocked to see and was very dishearten, the originality of the car has lost, Just to get the benefit from Insurance company. Car is still at the badarpur service centre, for the last one week i am driving my wife's car. I purchased my car with my hard earn money and love my car. But they spoiled my car for their on benefit. They don't deserve to have service centre wherein they just look how to harass the customer and make money. As of now, I am at a loss as to where I stand in the scope of things. ”. Other than creating a negative impression about Maruti Suzuki, in our mind, this incident has also raised doubts, as to the service of the company, and its front-liners as a whole.

I request you, to kindly consider our case, and help in restoring our faith in Maruti Suzuki and to get me the justice. This letter is more of a plea to prevent such unethical practices in future by your Dealers.

I agree to the point that all maruti dealers all over India has got very good oppertunity to sell DZIRE in black. I think now that MARUTI itself is interested or they have there share in the premium ammount which is taken by the dealers .ie.Rs.50000.00 for each DZIRE VDI . This is the rate of premium ammount if one pays extra to the dealer he will get the car same day. I am from PUNJAB LUDHIANA, here are six dealers of maruti and all have unity among them and all are asking for Rs.50000.00 as extra aammount to be given to them to get the car same day delivered . On the other hand people who have booked the car with them are waiting for the car for many months as the dealer say the Maruti Company is not sending them SWIFT DZIRE as production process is very slow. According to me MARUTI must take the booking process online and while booking process they should tell the person when they are going to get the vehicle and from which dealer.
I had the plan to buy SWIFT DZIRE ZDI but I drooped it and bought Lancer.

Suzuki Dzire VDi — Booking & Transparency

I am adding my woes to all the other complaints. I recently booked a Dzire VDi with Varun Motors, Hyderabad. The booking amount was INR 50000/- and they said it would take around 7-8 months for delivery. When I asked for the number of bookings already done for the car at the dealership, they did not provide any answer. Nor did they provide a booking number. There is a lot o[censored]n-professionalism and malpractice happening at all the dealers. They are making hay by charging huge premiums.
This will surely put a dent in Maruti Suzuki's image. Currently there are three other hatchbacks that have the same diesel engine. The one in Indica Vista is supposed to be better than the one in Swift. Palio (the owner of the engine design) also has the same engine and is cheaper. The issue with Fiat was that their after sales was not very good, but all that is set to change with the tie up with Tata Motors. Soon most of the people will move over to one of these cars and Maruti will be left licking their wounds, as Swift is the only car from their stable that is doing well currently. I wish in the next 4 months all the Swift bookings are withdrawn and customers go for better alternatives. This will teach Maruti Suzuki to handle things more professionally. How much better would it have been if the company themselves handled the booking and delivery and showed the status online for everyone to check. This would have really build the brand image of the company inspite of the long wait. Now people are not sure what malpractices are being done and when will they finally get the delivery of the car!!
Very sorry state of affairs after having earned a name in their more than 20 years in India. Shame on you Maruti Suzuki !!!
