Yep, the same thing was could have happened to me had I not googled about the number and responded to the sms from 56263042 ...

I think SMS Fraud is gaining popularity in India ... earlier i got a sms saying that i have won some carore $s. I of cause didn't replied to that sms

I also got SMS from BA LUCKY same I have note reply as I know this will be fraud.
I just checked with Google and found these results.

Thank you guy’s u have already put complaint on this issue.

Somebody can help on this matter how to stop this types of SMS.

You guys are absolutely right. Even I and another friend of mine rcd this sms. We did not reply. Caution to all you people : Plz dont reply to 56263042.

before sending my address, i was "LUCK-Y" to have read the comments on google

yes they had send me sms that u had win 2500rs pearl set and i had send them 3 sms but nothing has happen

can u plz tell me how to take legal action on them

I too got the same msg from TA LUCKY that had won pearl set worth M.R.P Rs.2500/-, I stupidly replied for that and lost Rs.3/-. So pls friends don't reply such a msg like this, Instead of this they can beg.

I too sent a reply, they replied saying that Rs.525 needs to be payed at the time of delivery.
I was in a confusion whether to reply for that msg.. before that
I just checked with Google and found it as fraud .

I am not sure of other providers. But my wife received this message on AIRTEL.

Same message with Pearl Set information was received and my wife replied back to the number. And they responded asking for name and shipping addresss. And charges of 525 rs on delievery.

This one came from TA Lucky. Googled the message on found these results. Its good that people reported this issue.

My wife is going to file compliant with AIRTEL to avoid these kind of messages, other can complain too. So that the providers will take it up seriously.

I too got a similar message, called airtel helpdesk and they said it was mistake from their end. They had sent bulk messages to few customers. First of all need not worry as its toll free number and you will not be charged. If charged will be reversed. In future please do not reply to those messsages.

I was also been lucky twice by receiving 2 sms. First one made me millioner with 850, 000 USD from TM-atension [protected]@live.com and second time BA-LUCKY wanted to give me pearl set of Rs. 2500 worth :-)

yes me too received an sms from BA-LUCKY to my airtel mobile number, that you've won a pearl set worth Rs.2500, but you've to pay only Rs.525 for the courier charges at the time of delivery. but, i, ve just typed this number 56263042 in google, and now am saved ... thanks for saving me...

me also get the same message and reply lucky then they asked my postal address to deliver a pearl set but i just ignored

I also received from TA LUCKY ans no is 54999656 and also replied as Lucky but still now I did not get any response.It may be fake beware .saalo ke haat per tood denge yedi money manga to.do not pay any money.If they take money then definitely it is fake. pakad me aane par khoob toodo saalo ko.

Same stuff here, won the pearl necklace.. Since my friend had won similarly some few crores last week.. thought to google the number over net. Ended up here.. Thanks a lot guys... BTW, I was asked to reply "LUCKY" to 54999656...

Even I (Vodafone user) got SMS from BA-LUCKY for the same Pearl Set and the number was 54999656.
