2. The application for withdrawal of PF amount is submitted to Adonis Electronics office 3 months back for onward submission to your office after necessary formalities.
3. As confirmed from Adonis Electronics office, The application is submitted to you and the application status can only be confirmed from Provident fund commissioner office at Mumbai.

Request you to confirm me the PF withdrawal application Status at earliest.

Onida (Adonis) / Television — Defective Set of TV

Dear Sir /Madam,

This is with reference to the letter no. CTV/14A dated 15 Apr 08 received
from Adonis Electronics Pvt Ltd, Baroda.

This is to inform you that we have purchased Onida Home Theatre system (29
Inch) from Sales Corner, Baroda. After installation of this TV, we found
some problem in this. This problem was that while watching TV, even
after switch off TV or anytime whole night, there were some type of noise
coming out. Since then we were complaining for the same to your officials
and then after your officials personally came and checked and agreed to
exchange the TV.

On 9.4.2007 we got new exchange TV against this defected piece. Now on
11.4.08 we were watching TV and that time some sparking were there near
that sensor where the remote functions control. We quickly put off our
TV. At that time only I have telephoned Mr Rajendra Patel and he say they
have to come and check. After 2-3 days one of my relative only came to
check the fault of this TV. You will be surprised to hear that when he
just opened that TV, he found and also shown to me that the circuit (PCB)
and also other circuit which is pasted in the centre of TV structure
inside are broken and shouldered. And because of this shouldering there
were spark in my TV. Within a seconds I called Mr Rajendra Patel,
Baroda Incharge and narrated all these problems and also tell to come
right now as he can also see the fact. But due to his busy schedule he
could not come on the same day and he visited on second day with
technician where he also found that these circuits are totally broken in
two pieces. And after some shouldereing placed in TV. We have asked him
to exchange these circuits as -

-- first of all my TV is new as just complete one year on 9 Apr 08. You
also know that in one year there should not be any problem because of some
parts etc.
-- Because of these broken and also shouldered circuits this problem
occurred.

He assured us that he will write and explain to top officials and will be
back within a weeks times. And on 24th Apr 08 I have received one
letter from Mr Rajendra Patel, Baroda incharge stating that they have
found PCB is broken and the repairing cost would be Rs.6900/-. The copy
of letter is attached.

My question is that why should we pay this charges as these broken parts
you only placed in TV and given to us stating that this is new TV. I have
paid Rs.25000 for this TV and after one year we came to know that we have
given a TV with broken and repaired parts. You are requested to look into
this and change this broken circuits at the earliest.

I have tried to contact Adonis officials and emailed several times but they are not giving any response.

OR PLEASE ADVISE ME IN BARODA GUJARAT WHOM SHOULD I CONTACT SO THAT I CAN GET RESPONSE AND MY PROBLEM CAN BE RESOLVED AS I ALREADY COMPLAINED THRU Core Centre also several times but nothing has been done. Now u only advise what should i do even after thru Core Centre it will not resolve. My complaint id was 28037.

Adonis Electronics Pvt Ltd — my epf not yet settled

I was came out from the company on 30th june 2006 and all follow up as per the company all the forms was submitted to EPF office on oct'2008. Even after submitted the require forms to the office I did not get any amount from EPF office.

Dear Sir,

This is Sambit Kumar Mallik residing in Shenoy Nagar, Chennai.

I had the following defect for the past few days in my 29 inch Onida color television..

I was hearing a constant sparking sound from inside whenever I switched on the tv. Due to this the picture also appeared to be shaking along with the intermittent sparking sound from inside.

Hence fearing that it might burn the circuit inside, I had filed a comlplaint with (complaint no[protected] in your service center (ADONIS)on 23rd May 2009 which was a saturday and I was promised a technician would attend to it first thing on monday. My purpose was to get it examined by a technician and then carry out the necessary repair.

No technician attended to it on Monday despite of bieng promised so and despite of my calling your customercare center several times.

Again when I called a few times on Tuesday, I was connected to one Mr. Chandrasekar, who is the tecnician for the area and he said that he can't attend to it before Wednesday. Due to this there was some argument between me and Mr Chandrasekar and he was forced to come on Tuesday afternoon( 26th of May 2009).

And since he had to come against his wish that day, he just refused to check the tv and said that it was working perfectly. But lated on when he was made to hear the sparking noise inside, he still adamantly said that the TV set is fine and that a stabilizer is needed to control the voltage fluctuation. When I said my second TV and all other instrument at home are working perfectly, he said that ONIDA TV is different. And when I requested him to open and atleast have a look what the problem is, otherwise it will burn, he said let if burn then only our service center people will open and see. With that he left my house without attending to th problem.

The very next morning when the TV was switched on it burst with fire and smoke from inside. On contacting cusomercare at least 7/8 times, MR Chandrasekar came only today afternoon, i.e. 28th of May 2009 and opened the set and confirmed that the circuit is burned and he can't do anything about it. Only if I take it to service center they will repair it.

When I asked him why the other day he said that the tv was perfect and didn't check it, he replied that his company's rule is that if picture and sound is coming they iwill take it as perfectly working and wont open the set.

He asked me to sign on his company record sheet where he had mentioned that th damage was due to voltage fluctuation on which I didn;t sign as it was purely due to his negligence.
He shoud have done these:

1) You should have checked the TV set opeing it at my house first to see if the poblem can be rectified at home( since you are supposed to provide doorstep service)
2) Then if it is beyond rectification at my house, you could have advised me to take it to your service center,
3) Or after checking where the sparking sound is coming if you thought stabilizer is required you could have then advised to use it and not just like that.

Since you have done non of these, hereby I am filing this complaint against your technician for his irresponisble act which has resulted in damage to my property and demand it to be completely repaired at your cost and hand it over back to me at the earliest. ( You need to send your people to take it to your service center as the damage is due to your negligence.)
If I carry it, you guys would certainly charge me with improper handling in transit and hence attribute the defect on me again like Mr Chandrasekar did. I have now that much of confidence with you due to your behaviour.

I am also separately writing to the top management of your company ( also will forward this e-mail) for haivng this standard of people for service.

And if it is still not attended to, I'll have no choice left but seek legal action upon you guys for negligence .

This is palani from kanchipuram we have onida washing machine have some problem with operation now it's not working for that technision came from your adonis electronics his name is umesh.s and he said motor of the washing machine has to change cost of that motor is 750RS then we have given 750 rs(May month) we got recepit but till now he didn't bring new motor.we keep on contacting him he always used to say come tommorow but he wouldn't come.Please do check with that umesh.s we are totally disappointed with ur service.

I am from cochin.registered complaint number:6380077. i had bought a onida 29inch T.V a year ago and it just keeps on giving some problem or the other, first when the problem arised, the technician said its because of the power supply and charged me Rs.750 for changing something and within a week now, i have no sound at all on T.V, its completely mute and i registered a complaint at adonis electronics in cochin-ravipuram on 2nd of july and today is 9th of july, but seems like no sign of them coming to rectify this problem, i must have called atleast 20times, but their technicians attitude are just horrendous, i think they have a very poor knowledge and completely no ethics at all. i would only blame the onida company for tying up with such a unproffessional company like adonis-cochin and who appoint these kind of technicians, who are very irresponsible. everytime they attend for a problem and when we pay the service charge, from that given date, they are not suppose to charge for any problem for exactly a month and i guess i am nearing that period, which is why they are least bothered to attend but then i can fight at the consumer court by saying that i registered my complaint before that period, guess these people can only think they are cleverer, but the reality is different.

1.1st technician that attended was Bastion from adonis electronics cochin
2. the phone attendant was Ria aonis electronics cochin
3.2nd technician, who only keeps calling but no sign of landing is Riju also from the great adonis at cochin.

all their services were very poor and terrible.

IMPORTANT: NEVER BUY ONIDA AND NEVER EVER CALL ADONIS AT COCHIN - RAVIPURAM
I fully agree with Mr. Sambit Kumar Mallik. The same case has happened with me and today also i am facin a serious problem.

I m having 29 inch Poision Theater. The Onida people have changed my circut for 4 times but still they are not successful. the new circuit or new TV model of Onida works only for 6 months and not more than that.

My suggesstion is Onida shoul be band for supplying Television sets like poision theater. This really spreads Poision in the life of Middle class people like me.

I request all the Middle class people who wish to own Onida Tv, Pls Pls Pls Do not go for this brand, better try something else.
Dear brother, please don't buy ONIDA products as long as ONIDA is tied up with Adonis electronics pvt ltd. Adnois are real man eaters and money eaters. They don't care of customer. Now i can understand why ONIDA is not becoming famous in market. They won't until and otherwise they provide a better customer service and they cannot do it until they change the contract with Adonis.

On 3rd of oct your television technician had came to repair my IGO television.He came to repair the colour tube after changing some of the part it was fine but after the 10 min of his leave the tv screen remain the same as before. your's techhnician's name is Sachin Joshi. please see to it very soon

Adonis Service centre was working in Tambaram Gandhi road, 3 years back. Now they are doing their service in Tambaram Sanitorium Area. While they were in Tambaram West, they were using the phone number of 2226 2010 as a customer care number. When they shifted from Tambaram, they surrendered the phone and they got new connection at their new premises. The new number is 22413334
Mean while we applied a telephone connection at BSNL Chennai.. They provided us the above number[protected].
We got the connection for our official purpose. But every day we are getting minimum of 100 calls from Onida customers for their service requirements. We are answering everyday and some times we are giving the new number also. It is a very big head ache for us.
What the Adonis Electronics would have been done?
The company would have been intimated the new customer care number for all of their customers via sms or through letter. But they failed.. We are suffering every day and got mental agony regarding this.
Our request of M/S Adoni electronics private limited now that, inform your new number to all of your customers and here after please change the new number in each and every warranty card when you selling your products
We hope that, this change of number will be intimated by you to all of your customers as soon as possible
Today we informed the customer care head office and as well as Mr. Prakash who is the incharge of Tambaram Division.
