[Resolved]  Adventure plantation ltd or Adventure Orchards Ltd — Non refund of payement of Growth Bond-II

non receipt of redemption amount g.bonds
sir,

i have invested in 3 growth bonds of rs 2500 each = Rs 7500/- each in four of my family members total investment amt Rs30000/-, .as per company request i have surrendered post dated cheques and original bond certificates to company by hand delivered on 3/8/2001.and have received pref share certificate.

However the company was send in liquidation in oct 2001 and we had filed the claim with the official liqudator in the month of may 2002 at Fort Branch of BANK OF INDIA, BEHIND HIGH COURT Mumbai...

How ever i have still not heard of anything from them till date...

I think the liquidator is/was not interested in attaching their properties/land on which this plantation was going and gave them the (Directors) chance/excuse to either dispose of the land or escape the liability for returning the investors money...

therefore i request you to guide in this matter for getting invested amount or give us any feedback on the same...

My Dad have paid 15, 000/- Rs and father-in-law have paid 40, 000/- Rs to M/s Adventure Plantation Ltd known as Adventure Orchadrs Ltd whos Directorss were Vijay Dholakia, Devang Dholakia etc and I have been issued Growth Bond-II but inspite of tephonic enquiry and personal visit on the given address, it was come to know that the said company has been windup their business and not in existence. I have not received any refeund till date. You are requested to take necessary action in the matter please.Please also we have to collect all the affected members so that we can file a case against and can recover our money. Please revert back at the earliest. you are the hope in our life.

I have the same concern, my parent shave invested their lifetime savings in to this scheme, for the love of green and believing into these bogus people and have been through the same plight as you have.
I am sending an article to Time of India, hoping that the governing bodies respond to the same. I feel that we should get together and refuse to fall victims to these fraud people and their fraud businesses.

The only way to find them and as per the supreme law of the land in India is to lodge an official police complaint for criminal charges for fraud and breach of trust, an FIR at the Gamdevi Police Station giving them copies of your agreement, reciept, certificate or any 1 document executed with the company as the
company must have not followed and fullfilled their collective investment scheme guidelines from SEBI
and recover your promised money in cash as per the terms of the scheme and your agreement from Devang Dholakia the man behind the scheme and who has your money.In case the Police nab him he could face imprisonment for atleast 5-7 years if he does not repay the money by courier or mail to all the investors as promised.

Like numerous complaints above, my parents too were victims of the Gold Leaf membership started by Adventure Orchards Ltd.

I am keen to know i keep receiving cheques and on submitting them they bounce back. Is there anyone who has managed to recover their money, if yes, do let me know.

we have invested in adventure plantation ltd and they have issued checks in my hand one cheque dena bank gowalia tank road mumbai 400026 branch and folio no. is 3727 a/c no. A/89 ch. no. 907442 dated 1-1-2010 rs. 6000/- in the name of manish mahendra dawda so to day we are going to deposit this cheque in bank.

We have Growth bond issued in 1993 for Rs.5, 000. Uptill now we have not received any payment thereoff. Kindly advice

my dad had also invested and had taken 2 bonds of Rs. 6000/- to M/sADVENTURE PLANTATION LTD, 'PRABHUTA', 21 HUGES ROAD, BOMBAY in 1994. I would like to know about their whereabout. our cheque has bounced and they are absconding.
Please let me know if any body knows about their address through this column.
