[Resolved]  Aircel — harassing customer

This is to bring to your kind attention that I have applied for porting of my number frm bsnl to aircel on 03.08.2011 and paid for then same Rs 500/- at Aircel office Asansol to Ms Saloni Gupta. I was told that it will take maximum of 6 days for the conversion and a representative of aircel was send to my place for verification which was duly done on 5th of Aug. On Monday ie. 7th Aug Ms Saloni told me that everything is fine and I will get he connectin on thursday i.e. 11th Aug, which suited me as on 12th I was to leave for Delhi which was told to your representative and Ms saloni the very first day. On 12th morning upon ringing Ms Saloni for several times she responded and told me that the address was not printed properly on the document which I submitted ( Voter Id card). I would also like to mention here that I also sbmitted my electricity bill on which the full address was printed but which she said it is not required
I had to leave station on 12th without my activation and came back on17th and again called Ms Saloni upon which msg me that it will take some couple of days more time. Today i.e. 18th Aug again when I called her sher said that since this connection belongs to a house wife it is a law from govt of India to not to port connetion of house wife.
I want to know about this law if so it exists that house wifes are debarred from this servicvided by Govt of India and am very very dissatisfied by the services of your reputed company and its representatives who are not aware of such laws for these things should have been told the very first day and uch a reputed Company like Aircel who is making its mark of withhelding Rs 500 (Rupees Five hundered only) for such a long time and mis guarding customers.
