[Resolved]  Airtel — Video club service

Hi,

I'm Prateek from Kolkata.
The same Video Club subscription has been activated in my mobile no. as well [protected] (without my concern)

Airtel is therefore charging Rs.99/monthly and the funny thing is - the amount is getting deducted whenever the pre-paid balance is above than the required amount!
Last deduction was made on 13th August (Saturday)

I have contacted the customer care service and have spoken with the reps, but they are not willing to solve the issue.

This is a clear case of fraud with the unnecessary deduction of hard-earned money.
I therefore claim a refund or would leave the Airtel service and would rather opt for an MNP.

This is the worst thing any service provider can do!

same with me too...my phone no is [protected]...i just called 3 minutes before writing this comment...they told me its an service for something related to sex videos or something...i don't access the sex sites and the service has got activated...these frauds should should get

But the worst thing is, I don't activate anything and Airtel charged 60rs from my account unnecessarily... Kindly please refund it... or I will opt for any other Telecom Service.

same with me([protected]) and @ 99. its disgusting...i never activated this than y r they dedecting this amount n usless service.

I never expected such a thing from Airtel.

I downloaded a song in free but this option has been activated and deducted 17 really from my balance and it showed to stop smoking STOP to 155223 then I msged it deducted 1rs from my balance but also it was not stopped now it pack has been renewed please refund myk amount my mobile number is [protected]

I have experienced same fradualant activation for video club service. Upon reporting to airtel customer care they reponded. In such a way that I have activated by mistake by clicking some adds in.I have just opened the what's app.They replied in such a way that I am new to smart phone and hence I am reponsible for service activation so I should bear the cost for the service which is not used. This is how airtel money looting from customers.

Me too. They deducted 30 RS without any notice. I need refund. [protected].
