[Resolved] Airtel — Defective Modem | |||
I took the Airtel broadband connection before 2 months. With that, I bought the wifi modem for Rs. 1500/- from the person who installed everything as I was told I've to buy modem and airtel will not give it for free. After few days, when I started using WiFi instead of direct LAN cable connection I noticed that the WiFi signal strength was very poor. I was told by airtel personal who installed the modem and other step that airtel will replace/repair the modem if it doesn't work properly in future. So I logged many complaints. But every time I was told that I've to contact Binatone as modem was manufactured by that company. When I contected Binatone, they tell me that Airtel should replace it. I repeatedly requested aritel customer care to give me details of the guy who installed the connection so I can contact him (according to airtel installation guy gave me faulty modem) but airtel customer care refused to give those details. They are not even interested to take my complaint against installation person. I feel cheated by aritel. How can you not take responsibility of a faulty goods provided by your representative? Airtel infact encourages them to cheat the customers and then they will tell you that it was my mistake. Airtel just know get most out of customer. When you face any issue, you are dead, as it will never get resolved quickly and you will end up paying bills for the month for which service wasn't provided properly.
