This is an ongoing issue with Airtel...
I have disconnected the broadband connection long back due to the issue I had with the payment.
Last week I got a call from a Lady from Airtel and she said she is Keerthana from Chennai office.
Again I had to tell all the story from last 8 months and she said I need to pay only 2500/- the remaining amount will be waived off. This week I got a message from Airtel saying that if I want to reactivate my account give a call. So I called them and I had to tell all the same story and that lady said this would be like a new connection and regarding old payment the concern team will call you.
I got the connection on Saturday and Sunday morning I got a call from Keerthana for the old bill payment.
So based on her confirmation I have paid 2500/- cash on Sunday to the representative who came to my house and collected it.
Monday morning I got a call from another Airtel representative asking me to pay the remaining 2500/- which was due in the old bill. I was shocked to hear this and I told him what had happened and he said nothing is updated in the system like this and I need to pay the money.
I want few things to be very clear.
1.I WILL NOT PAY ANY MONEY FOR WHICH I HAVEN’T USED.
2.THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT IT WAS ALL BECAUSE OF AIRTEL.
3.I HAVE RECORDED ALL THE CALLS WHICH I HAVE RECEIVED FROM THIS LADY KEERTHANA.
4.IF THIS ISSUES IS NOT SOLVED BY END OF TODAY I WILL HAVE TO GO TO THE CONSUMER COURT AND FILE A CASE.
5.I DON’T WANT A CONFIRMATION MAIL/CALL SAYING THAT THIS ISSUE WILL GET SOLVED WITHIN 48 HOURS.
I WILL NOT PAY ANY SINGLE RUPEE AND I DON’T WANT THE CONNECTION PLEASE DEACTIVATE IT. Was this information helpful? |
