Sir, AIrtel is running a racket with other service providers. I was charged abnormal amount of Rs 21000/- for 5 days spent in South Africa. Besides, the the outgoing service was stopped without sending me a bill I had to pay the amount to airtel to get the service. Same here...they charged me 32, 000/- for 5 days and till date havent sent a bill home.We did not even ask for the ISD Roaming Activitation. Under some circumstances, when we tried to switch on the mobile at the airport, thats when we realized ISD roaming is activated. Since we have used, we are paying it in installments (which was approved by Airtel Front office - They agreed to take lesser amounts to clear the bill) but the airtel recovery team has been harassing us to pay the whole amount.
