Airtel — Online Payment - No confirmation sent | |
Hi, I purchased Airtel DTH by making an online payment in the Airtel digital tv website. The transaction was successful and I got the transaction ID. But there was no confirmation sent either by email or SMS regarding my order. I spoke to the Customer care service and they say it will take 3 or 4 working days to deliver the equipments. But they are not able to track my order at all. I read serveral complaints in this website about the airtel DTH and now I'm afraid if I will be receiving my DTH on time. The customer care is worst in responding to my query. Now there is no way I can track my order. My transaction ID is 969023 Order in the name of Vijay Ramasamy Please take necessary action on this. I am a user of Airtel DTH. Airtel is the worst Service provider I have ever seen in my entire life!!! I took new connection on 6th Aug 2009. I paid 2200 Rs & it was told to me that I will get 3 months subscription free. It worked for 2 months properly. But suddenly on 21st October 2009 the error message appeared on my screen. The message was "The view card is not authorised & etc...".
Second day I called their customer care toll free no. After almost half an hour I connected with their customer executive. He told me that this problem occurred because my balance is negative. So i asked him that why my balance is negative. Then he explained that somebody recharge for 100 Rs. on my account by mistake & then withdrawn that recharged amount from my account. So that is why my balance is negative. So I told the customer executive that even if balance is withdrawn from account but my account should not become negative. Whatever recharge was made to my account by mistake should be withdrawn but my account should not show negative balance. So he agreed upon that & created a complaint for me. Complaint no. 1288195 & told to me that the issue will be resolved by tomorrow morning i.e. by 23 Oct 2009 morning. I checked the TV in evening on 23 Oct 2009 but still the same error message was appearing on screen. Then again I called them. This time customer executive told me that problem will be resolved by tomorrow morning i.e by 24 Oct 2009 morning. Untill 24 Oct 2009 night TV was not working. On 25th Oct 2009 I got a SMS on my registered mobile no. that problem have been resolved. So I checked the TV but still it was not working . So I called them again on 25 Oct 2009. Please note that every time I used to call Airtel customer care toll free no. it took around half an hour to connect to customer executive. This time they told that problem will be definitely resolved by 28th Oct 2009 & told me that my complaint was by mistake put under wrong category & created a new complaint. New complaint no. 1313686
Untill 29 Oct 2009 my DTH was not working. Again I called them. Every time they told me that the problem will be resolved by tommorrow. But still today Airtel have not solved my problem. It is is the worst service provider I have ever seen in my entire life.
I am seeking help from Government. Government should take some strict decision against the people who are cheating the common man. Who will pay my 2200 Rs back to me? Is there anybody listening to my voice?
