[Resolved] Airtel — non reply/installation of broadband | |
Sir, It is hereby regret to inform you that even after 2 complaints from my side at your this site and making numerous calls/complaints at your Airtel Helpline Customer care Centre I did not receive any reply/instal broad band till date after lapsing of 10 days of applying for broad band and depositing a cash payment of Rs. 500/-. Whenever I made a call at your Customer care centre, every time they said "Sorry, we are unable to trace out your record as our system is busy for upgradation". Only 1 time a customer care executive told me that she had found my form and is under process, someone will call you or come to your office next day before 10.57 am. But till date nobody has come or any call from your side. Hence you are requested to kindly inform me whether you or Bharti Airtel Ltd. is able to install broad band at my place or not. if no, then why u people promised in public what u cannot deliver. if yes, why the above said connection is not installed till date even after 10 days. It has happened the same way for me, but, it's a lapse of 30 days after filling the application and paying the deposit amount of Rs.1000/-. It was applied on 29-Aug-14; the sales agent promised for next day activation and connectivity. After that there was no response, I had ended up making numerous calls (to be precise 60 calls) wasting my time and money. The sales agent has promised for activation of service for 6 to 7 times by specific date, but, to listen later that it will be done by this weekend.
In between, I had visited one of the Airtel centers; the person simply replies that they have a process of pooling all new connection request applications and deposit amount wherever they don't have their network setup and show that as business opportunity to do the same. The same was not conveyed to me anytime and there was no proper response to provide the update back to me. It is very bad to do false promising and get the amount from customer and never call back later.
When I have called the customer care, he says there is no option to register a complaint.
So, please don't get misguided by the promises they make to get the deposit amount. It is always required to get the date of activation in writing on the receipt they provide.
The same Airtel disconnects your Digital TV connection the same day of balance expiry.
