[Resolved]  Airtel — CHEATING BY AIRTEL EMPLOYEE

hello, this is d.k.george here from jamshedpur(jharkhand) . i had filled up the airtel form with regard to conversion of my mobile phone number [protected] from prepaid to postpaid almost a month ago. one of your company”s employee named gunjan had collected the documents for the conversion along with the deposit of Rs 500. He gave me a new sim (sim no-[protected]) so that i am able to use it after the conversion. its still not done till this date and when i went to airtel”s office, they tell me gunjan is no more an employee of airtel.
u being a company is responsible for the acts of your employees. i had given the money in good faith and he being your company’s employee your company is liable. i need my Rs 500 refunded coz its my hard earned money. i have also had this complaint posted on airtel facebook page. i was assured of a solution but its been a week and there seems to be no response from your side. I am frustrated with the follow ups. i dont think airtel seems to care about its present customers. If i dont get a solution to this within the next 5 days. i will prefer porting out o[censored]r network.

AirTel — employee

Airtel service located near Nadhash in Varanasi.
I found those employees are young and energetic but lack of confidence and conduct when they r dealing consumer.
Especially they are not good in conduct when I face with one of young employee.

AirTel — no response and cheating

This is in regard of dissatisfactory services provided by blackberry and airtel to its customers.
And to tell you that we are really dissapointed and this time if i dont get a proper response from your side,i'll make sure that we file a case against you in the consumer court.
As we are helpless because we cant change our number from airtel to any other service since we have been using it from past several years.

For each and every small problem it may be coverage problem or GPRS problem we have to go to your office several times as there is no executive intrested in talking properly on your helpline 121,for every problem they have got some other number to forward to us saying that " sir pls contact on this number,sir pls go to our office".

Recently i have purchased a blackberry curve 8520 phone 10 days back from the airtel office and store saket square indore,
After buying the mobile i was not even given the bill for it and i was told that sir pls come tomorrow our bill book is finished ,we will give you the bill tmr.
I said OK and after that day i went to that airtel office everyday for 3 continuous days for my phone bill and everyday they had a reason that sir one of our executive is having your bill and she is ill so we cant help you with that ,you will have to wait till she comes, Then i asked for the blackberry plans that i want to activate them on my cell and i want to deactivate GPRS as i would get internet by blackberry service.
On this your airtel executive says sir our server is down so we cant activate your blackberry services for more 10 days,and we cant we deactivate your GPRS as the server is down and you cant use your gprs internet on your cell as it doesnt works in blackberry.
ON THIS,
FIRST OF ALL IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED WHEN I WAS BUYING THE MOBILE THAT YOUR SERVER IS DOWN THEN I WOULD'NT HAVE PURCHASED IT FOR 10 DAYS AND IF I CANT USE MY GPRS ON THE CELL AND YOU CANT EVEN DEACTIVATE IT coz the SERVER IS DOWN THEN WHY THE HELL IS AIRTEL CHARGING ME 700 Rs. A MONTH FOR GPRS SERVICES.

And above all this all three employees at airtel office does'nt even know the blackberry internet plans when i inquired about that they say "we are on training we dont know,go to our ratlam kothi office".

And today after 10 days when i went to them to get my services on so they say for this we require your letter head, i really want to know that why cant airtel people tell at once that what is the procedure,why do we have to rush 100 times for small things.
Do we dont have any work except rushing to airtel office every our.
And your employees sitting there dont even know how to attend there customers,they themselves dont have information about the tarrifs and plans ,they dont know how to speak in english,they use slang language.
I think these complains are enough for me to file a case in consumer court.

And above this when i call 121 to complain about this then Ms.meenaxshi tells me that our senior is busy with other call he will call you later and its been 2hrs i havent received a call.

And everytime we complain via phone or mail,we just get a msg on our mobile saying thank you for your complain we will reach in you 72 hrs.
I dont understand when will these 72 hrs get completed.

Hope that someone would atleast revert after this mail.

AirTel — Cheating of Airtel to its customer!!!

On 09 sep I took airtel USB modem connection from Baroda (Fategunj office). The customer service agent told me they have the coverage in my area and my network will get started on 12 sep. They said you will be able to use ur internet from 12 th onwards. It got started on 12th,but the coverage I am getting in my area is 22 % where in ahmeadabad it showing 99%..I was kept in dark about the feature of voice chatting(not possible with the modem they have enthrusted over me) which was my main crirteria of getting the connection as I from abroad calling my parents who in baroda in mobile is quite a expensive task...till date I am not able to voice chat. Airtel in baroda atleast doesn't have such features.If this the the way airtel is giving its service..God Save its customer!!!..Beware public before you get the connection of airtel ..atleast the internet connection sorry to say has a very poor network and customer agent are not knowing their own product ..AIRTEL and its features!! I am disheartened with this whole episode of calling those agts and making them understand!! Let Airtel ask for charity if it needs money.Let it not cheat people like this way!! As I know, we are earning our money thru' hard work.....
when I called in for airtel customer care office every body introduced themselves as higher authority of the office.And one of executive named TAPAN KUMAR DAS of BBSR branch behaved rudely when i call for an unauthorized services charges.
