Looks like you guys can't stop cheating your customers. I am on a 16mbps line and noticed that you have the same speed available at a lesser price. Requested your team to switch to that plan but they come back telling me that they can't switch as those plans are not available in my area??? Team Airtel, you really think your customers are fools and can't figure your cheap tactics to make money... pathetic. Stop wasting time making cute adverts and start focusing on your products and services. Shame on you folks.

I have activatd airtel gprs and using it, but on airtel gprs there are not charges applicable for it, only the weekly charge of Rs.75/- has to be deducted but the charges are taken extra while i use it, and to refer to the sustomer care i couldnt get on line, they have informed to send a message but there is no use of it the customer care is utter waste.

I am a prepaid Airtel subscriber, my Tel. no [protected]. I am short of words to express my feelings about this company, I can say THIS COMPNAY IS A BIG FRAUD, I have complained several times that I have not down loaded any thing from my mobile inspite of my repeated complaints to their customer service, my account is regularly being debited, now this fraudulent company has the guts to show a debit balance in my prepaid accont, this is the level to which this company can stoop to. I can only say that this company is using technology to pick peoples pockets.
every day I had been receiving filthy unromantics messages, cricket scores, and lousy jokes. I had been to their office in Chembur, Mumbai, it was filled with customers having similar complaints.
I deposited Rs.64/-(Trn id[protected],on[protected] to avail the scheme of 1paise/sec
for 1year.Surprisingly ,on 3.12.2009,4.-12-2009 &[protected] AIRTEL sent me SMS for availing 50paise/min,which is absolutely USELESS for my requirement.On[protected],in all of my outgoing calls for even 21 secs,5 secs,and so on Airtel deducted forcefully 50 paise per call,instead of 21 paise,5 paise respectedly,which is highly irregular,because while AIRTEL is enjoying my deposit for Rs.64/- for 1 /sec plan,but imposing forcefully another plan ,which I have neither been wanted,nor been accepted.It is a serious offence to a customer for stealing money without his concent & acceptence,neglecting the facility for which a CUSTOMER opted & deposted money.
This illegal stealing is highly punishable ,since AIRTEL is creating financial & mental loss to a bonafide customer . I request to stop this type o[censored]nauthorised stealing & get back the excess amount illegally deducted at earliest,and restore the facility for Rs.1 paise/sec,for which AIRTEL is enjoying my deposit for 1 year,under intimation to me.,faililg which severe legal steps will be taken & complain will be sent to higher authorities.

Respected Sir/Madam,
I am a working employee. I am using the Airtel Mobile services. Today[protected] i have recharged with 30 ruppes. My father health is not good. When i was in the meeting in my office, i got the call from one mobile number [protected]. I didn't pick the call because i was in the meeting. after completion of the meeting, i recalled to the same number. i thought anyone of my friend had called me. when i called to that number, it is saying "welcome to hello tunes'. i immeadiatley has cut the phone. i got the message , "welcome to hello tunes you have been charged 10 rs for 10 days subscription. Immediatley i got another message saying "you have been charged rs.15. your hello tune has been changed to some new song. Again i got the message saying, " thank you for calling 530309". I actually have called to the mobile number which i have got when i was in the meeting. i didn't know that it is airtel's number. i can i recognize whether that calling was coming from the airtel or anyone of the person. That too i have not called to above number 530309. When the customer call to [protected] number , they are charging call charges rates and also 25 rupees extra. They have cheated me. My father health is not good now. how can i contact my family now. recharges are not available near by. How can these airtel people can charge me 25 rupees without intimating.

Please take an action on these people. And it should not be happen to the any of the other customers. Evey rupee is valuable for every citizen. And also i am expecting my money back which they have charged.

I am using a airtel pre paid sim from past 6.5 years, Recently since 6 months there is a regular problem of call drop, charging excess all the time and some time you are not able to dial any number (gives a voice message,"Number is invalid") and you are charged for that as 1 call. recently i started keeping a tab on this, and i found out that, Airtel guys are cheating pre paid customers big time. When contacted support and logged complaints several times, nothing happens, the only reply we get is, "We are extremely sorry, we can understand your problem", and the customer support executives have started a new practice, when they are unable to answer the customer, they put the customer on hold for some time and then disconnect.

All my Customers/friends/relatives have the same number, i am in such a helpless situation, that i cant even change the number. and in spite of paying airtel, i am very Irritated.

Hope Airtel looks at this message a tries to work on their Customer support and Not cheat people instead.

Airtel Mobile Services — Poor quality of service and cheating

Dear Sir / Madam:

I have three mobile connections with Bharti Airtel ([protected], [protected] and [protected]) and the servicd stinks to say the least. It stinks so much that it worse than rotting garbage. I have made so many complaints and all I get is the same cliched message. That they care about customers and will leave no stone unturned to solve the issues. But, at the end of the day, it is business as usual. I am sure a lot many like me have had the same experience as me. We are waiting for the day when mobile portability will be introduced. Then it will be a good bye or should it be a bad bye to this lousy enterprise. I fervently hope that the organisation shuts shop and disappears from the horizon.

AirTel — Cheating the Customers

The main issue is that slowly increase the call rate, without informing the customers. No more favorable schemes in that call flow.
I have been an airtel mobile customer for more than 5+ years. Today i discover that a conference calling facility that has been free for the entire customer base has been Rs.100 for me for the last one year because i did not intimate them to cancel it. When i requested a reason for not letting me know when the the service has been free, they were fumbling and could not give me a fair reason.

Means that if i would not have intimated now, i would have be royally cheated for the rest for my life.

thanks to no. portability, i have decided to quit airtel.
On 3rd march 2011 Airtel service deducted Rs.15 from my no.[protected] ,Whereus I didn't activated it from my side.So I request airtel service to refund my money.I called customercare they told [application down]then how Airtel will serve people?.

AirTel — Cheating the customer

My Mobile No. is[protected]. Without my permission or request or confirmation Airtel is robbing me of my money by RENEWING WORLD CUP SCHEDULER SUBSCRIPTION daily. I was browsing my net on mobile on 11.04.2011 and without my knowledge and confirmation I was sent a message confirming my subscription for WORLD CUP SCHEDULER, which I had not opted for. From then on daily I am receiving a message that WORLD CUP SCHEDULER IS RENEWED and I have been charged. And intelligently they are not giving me a link to UNSUBSCRIBE the service. This is not the first time that this is happening. It has happened many times before, but because of lack of time, I let them go.

I had been contacting 121, daily since 11.04.2011, to kindly deactivate the SUBSCRIPTION, but to no avail. The Executives are unable to take any action on the complaint or they do not want to take any action. On 14.04.2011, I was promised by Airtel that the SUBSCRIPTION has been cancelled and I will get a confirmation report within 4 hours. That has not happened and I am still receiving SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL MESSAGES.

I request you to please stop WORLD CUP SCHEDULER SUBSCRIPTION immediately, and refund the money which has been collected from me UNAUTHORISEDLY. This amounts to Cheating and Fraud. If no action is taken immediately I will be compelled to publish the same matter in all leading NEWSPAPERS.

I am using Airtel prepaid card no [protected]. On last 6 year 12:33 AM I received one continuous SMS from Airtel Number 54321.I just opened first SMS immediately 75 Rs deducted from my account .

This is Amarnath I have use the Airtel Mobile service since 2007 Last three months back I have Activated the service name DO NOT DISTURB because they are sending lot of sms and unwanted calls in meeting time and the driving time so I activated. They told this service will effect within 45 days you will not receive any calls and SMS from our side. Till now I received the sms and calls from AIRTEL. Last 15 days back I have complained again they told it will stop by 25th May but I received calls and sms till now. Today I called at 12:00 AM one guy picked up the call and he cuts the call suddenly then I tried many times but call did not connect with customer care they are blocked my number. I called 2 times using my nearest recharge guy then they are picked up and they told me we will stop it and our manager will call you but they are did not called till now.

AIRTEL mobile service is cheating the people their service is service that guys are .

I got the end date for this complaint on 8th june. If it is clarified I will satisfy otherwise I wont satisfy .
Airtel has charged extra Rs3416 for data usage as the plan that I am currently under has a limit of 300MB (monthly GPRS rental of Rs 99) and my usage has been 800MB. So they have charged for 500MB usage. At the same time, Airtel has another plan that provides a limit of 2GB with a monthly rental of Rs 98. So basically customers who are unaware of the new plan continue to be charged huge sums so that Airtel can make a profit. In spite of speaking to multiple representatives from Airtel regarding this billing, I have been unable to make them see any reasoning. Kindly help put an end to ths exploitation of customers by Airtel.

I have still not received a response from you even though you apologised for delayed response and confirmed that i will get a response by 17th. JUst to remind you that you have already taken more than 40 days since the issue was escalated to the appellate authority. Therefore marking all id's i could find hoping someone is sensible in airtel and cares to respond to its customers honestly!

I finally got one from your customer service team (I dont expect to start interacting with them again and dont understand why you have appellate authority if this is going to be investigated by customer service anyway?)

The response i have received is frivolous and just says that the bill is correct because u have a state of the art billing system. Just want to remind you that your state of the art system has not been able to provide connectivity for 3 months and your amazing billing system has continued to charge me. I dont know if you have any sensible people in Airtel who can understand plain english over the telephone or email!!!

As per your email itself, there was no outstanding on 23rd Jul. how are you sending me the bill now??? does it make any sense to you? you are also aware that the connection is not working for 3 months and i have already paid for 2 months for which you should refund my money as you have not provided the service!!!

Your processes are exceptionally poor, over last three months i have been following up with Customer service, then nodal officer, then appellate office and i am now routed back to customer service.. are you just trying to harrass customers and force them to log cases against you in consumer forum and courts? i have been requesting for a cancellation of this connection for two months... why have you not been cancelling it despite paying all dues a month and a half ago (which you should not have charged in the first place if you were honest as you didn't provide the service)

I have been a customer with Airtel for the past 7 years and I am absolutely horrified by the abysmally pathetic service Airtel offers me in terms of quality of service (mobile), and the sheer incompetence and lack of professionalism of its customer care department. The past 3 months have been a horrendous experience for me and I would like to bring to your attention the same.

It all started with my network related complaint that I raised on the 18th of May. Due to the poor network, I am having to spend late nights at office for calls with my customers located in the US. All this when I could get to the comfort of my house and receive the same. Your team has not bothered to action this complaint for over two and a half months and every time I call them they inform me that they are escalating to the technical, which I now know is a farce. Finally, during the week of august 15th a technician visit my home and took some readings and only to not hear back from Airtel again.

I have escalated the matter with your nodal and appellate authorities in the customer "dont" care department but to no avail. Everybody within your appellate office (Leo Arvind, Anil, Ramesh) makes false promises of call backs with updates on the issue but none what-so-ever came from them. These are my issues with Airtel:

1. Airtel's customer "dont" care department lacks any professionalism and commitment to resolving customer issues. The escalation authorities are also just as impotent.
2. The appellate officers (Leo Arvind, Anil and Ramesh) refuse to bring their manager Sharath Damani on the call saying they will not do it. So I cannot escalate to the next higher level authority.
3. Because of Airtel's poor network and lack of commitment to resolve it, I've had to spend sleepless night at my workplace, while I could be spending time with my family.
4. Because of Airtel's poor network, I've had to make 4-5 extra calls for every call because of calls drops and poor voice quality.
5. Airtel disconnected my mobile connection without informing about the same.

My Position:
1. 70% of my calls are made from home, as I have a fixed line desk connection at office which I use while I am at office. I am ready to pay for good service which I have received 30% of the time which translates to 30% of my bill value.
2. If customers are charged a fine for late payment of bills, then Airtel should also pay a fine for non-actioning a customer complaint. It is only but fair.

I have had a horrid 2 months with airtel and need a resolution to this issue.

I look forward to some action at least from your side.

Bharti Airtel — Have not refunded my money since two and half months

Hi,

Initially I had applied for an Airtel Broadband connection sometime in the first week of July. They finally after one month at the end of July told me that the connection is not available and told that the money that I had paid will be refunded within 15 day. But it has been more than a month and I have not received my money.

When we call them they say someone will call within a day but from inception till now no one has called me regarding this issue, or most of the time they just hang up the phone, and calling them again is very irritating. And actually I am writing this complaint when I am waiting for someone to escalate the call and its been like around half an hour that no one has responded and I'm still on line.

The latest complaint number that was given to me is 2709550. Please help me out with this is the worst customer experience I have faced till now.
I have been receiving multiple communications to you on my phone ([protected]) and email id. I have also written to all your appellate authorities(exactly the email copied above which you should have been able to locate had you read the email above). You also had all my contact details including my phone, two emails as well as physical address linked to my account and you should have been able to pull it up had you checked email to appellate authority. Is it really that difficult?

Can you stop giving these excuses and try to resolve it?? all the details are already in your records including multiple emails to all in Airtel and i am tired of explaining the details to every new person who calls. And then they dont do anything.

AirTel — Abysmally poor customer care services

I am a professional in Chennai - I possess 2 mobile connections, 2 ipad connections, 1 broad band and one land line all from Airtel. And i am extremely ashamed to be an airtel customer. For each of these connections I had to visit airtel office in Santhome at least 10 times , talk to 121 to about 40 representatives and wait for a week before the connection gets functional. And i am certainly to blame my stupidity for still continuing with airtel. Yesterday at the Santhome office I requested for a change of one of my connections from blackberry to iphone 4 and also for a microsim. The chap who attended to me after about 45 min of waiting ( Mr.Aseem or Asin) told me that the microsim is activated and the change of plan to iphone will come to effect at 7.00 am the following day. At 7.00am i called some one on 121. she told that she'll try to look into it and then speed up the process. At 9.00 I called another male this time. He told that he is activating the SIM and will take 4 hrs for activation. Soon he called me up and told me that the sim ahs been activated. But nothing happened. I then went to the Santhome centre where i was told that they'll activate the sim and it'll take 6 hours from then. 4 hours later i called 121, a lady repiled this time and told that the sim has not been activated and will try her best to do so. It's amazing how disjointed airtel services can be,. They are making simple fools o[censored]s customers. Airtel seems to employ sub-standard personnel who have no idea what they are doing. It's a shame. Such service quality is unheard of in UK, Europe or Malaysia. I am just disgusted. Even services in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka where i worked are far more better. There seems to be a complete lack of some central administrative system. It's time Airtel either closed shop in India or learn some basic administrative methodology.

AirTel — Cheating with Customer

Dear Sir,

As for the information i have to inform you that i am the customer of Airtel since 1 year.
Since last week i am very unhappy with the service provided by airtel as it's deducting money from account every now and then of 10 paisa to 60 paisa (it varies from time to time) with out any usage of anything. I am so confused that why it's deducting money from my account. And even i have balance in my account it's coming that " U don't have sufficient balance to make the call." More ever few days back it has deducted around Rs. 134 with out any reason.
I want all my money back other wise i will switch to another service provider.
