[Resolved]  Airtel — closing of old connection

I am the old airtel customer and holdings the mobile number [protected]. Suddenly this number has been closed that I have to submit my id proof. But presently I am in banglore and I have submitted the above said documents to your airtel office. But still you have closed my 5 years old connection. Kindly note that I have registered this number to all my personal biodata as well as net banking facility also. However I am receiving the necessary information on this number. Kindly activate my mobile number for my personal use. And also I am holding balance in my accounts. Kindly do the needful.

Airtel Mobile — irresponsible answers for deposit refund

Sirs,
I have got 5 0r 6 Mobiles under CUG plan and already had more than 10 mobiles under the same plans and four months back I surrendered 4 mobile numbers having paid fully while closing the above. I repeatedly asked for the refund of the deposits. Every time while paying for the remaining numbers Iasked whether i can deduct the deposit amounts. But they said that the deposit amount will be seprately sent by DD.So the the monthly bills should be remitted seperately. Likewise I am still paying. So far there is no response and the complaints that were given through 121 were put aside. And these people never fails to give the number for complaints lodged. I dont understand the concept. If I again place the complaint they again give a new number. That is all they are doing. I think I can give a legal notice for the same.

It is better to get some solutions for that.

AirTel — Irresponsible

Airtel is proving worse day by day...I am unable to acess the *121# and *123# services on my mobile.Whenever i type any of those,immediately i am getting a message saying that "Not Available"...I have complained twice.When i complained for the first time,the operator promised me that the problem will be rectified with in 24hours and its been more than 72hours...Airtel failed to solve a simple problem.

I called another time to complain,then the operator told he is connecting it to some higher official.I waited for sometime and after 10min the call got cut itself.This happened to me many times and later i came to know that the reason they are doing this stuff because these days they are charging if we call customer care.They are just making me stay on hold,so that they can charge me.They dont provide me the solution,so i will call them again and again....

How shameless Airtel has become....

Dear Team,
My mobile number is [protected].While the mobile number portablity was introduced i gave the request to mobile number portability.At that time a representative form airtel and requested me to cancel the mobile number portability by giving me a new offer what is that is my call rates will be airtel to airtel 10 paise and other mobiles 30 paise and per day 100 sms free but i will be charged Rs.1 per day for six months after that i can avail the sme plan with out any cost i also accepted the plan and cancelled the request of mobile portability.That scheme got activated and i was enjoying the scheme. But today i was charged .30 paise per min. So i called the customer care (198) a guy paicked the call his name is ashok. I told my problem to him but now he is telling now that i am not elegible for that scheme.He didnt answer me properly. This is not the way to handle the customer.Why they are doing like this.They need to keep their words. Kindly help me to get back my plan which will help them to keep their promise.

i live in muzaffarnagar. my old airtel no [protected] not given me .when i call customer care then customer care says your number service bard some times.pls give my old airtel no.my alternative mobile no is [protected].

AirTel — Connection Closure

I was using Airtel BB, IP TV and Fixed phone subscription from quite long. My account number : 1518039.
I have requested for disconnection of Airtel services on 5th Feb 2011 and ensured all my outstanding was cleared till date and confirmed there was NO outstanding on my subscription.

Called them couple times for requesting them to disconnect the connection ASAP and collect all the instruments late by 13th feb as i have to vacant my house before that date. Keep on reminding them again and again to disconnect the service and collect the instruments within 7 -8 days which ideally is Airtel's SLA, no action has been taken.
When i relocated myself to different location, i got started getting calls from Airtel customer care to check if i want to continue with the service or wants to disconnect the subscription. I always opted to discontinue with services and request them every time to cancel my subscription.
Infact i follow up couple of time to confirm if my request has been processed or not. Every time disappointed with the response from Airtel and every other executive ensured that it will be done within a week’s time. Couple of reference number of my request are 1401365,45393162,1467653 unfortunately i lost 4,5 reference numbers.


Same practice from Airtel has been continued for couple of months, but subscription was active and no one really bothered to close the connection.

Now days they started calling me and telling me if i want to close my subscription then i have to pay them some amount. When i asked for the what amount this is.. they replied it's an outstanding from march to june. I am simply fail to understand what sort of outstanding they are talking about. When i seek for justification as i am not using this subscription from last 4-5 months why do i pay the amount, Airtel customer care only keep on repeating this amount i have to pay if i want to close my account otherwise they keep on adding the charges on it.
I am seeking an explanation from Airtel, when i requested to close my subscription on 5th feb, cleared all outstanding till that time, given them 8 days to come and collect all their instruments/devices. When no action has been taken then, why the hell they are asking me for the charges for serive which i haven't used.
These guys are so much irritating they have N number of different ideas how to frustrate there customer. They also start send text message to deposited instrument and device. How comes i send them devices which i left at my previous residence.
They are simply stupid guide who nowhere understand what rubbish they are speaking to their customer. This is really ridiculous and pathetic service of Airtel. They only know how to cheat there customer and frustrate them.. so they never ever even think to use any Airtel service in future.
Kindly ask for an explanation from airtel Why do i need to pay a single penny to them when i don’t have outstanding of any amount. Also requesting you to place take strict action against Airtel to immediately close my subscription, STOP sending me those ridiculous sms and never give me any call for any sort of outstanding on my subscription.
