I had applied for an Airtel broadband connection transfer from Bangalore to Hyderbad on April 1, 2012.
They told they will transfer it asap. But Even after two, three weeks, nobody called me regarding this. They did not
inform anything through mail also.
Now they are claiming they disconnected the connection in July and they are asking me to pay 4533.
Last week(3rd October 2012) i called customer care and asked about my request. Till then they had the
record of my request, in their database. They told due to non availability of connectivity, they could
transfer to my new address in Hyderabad.
But on 10 Oct 2012, they sent me a mail, asking to pay the amount before 13 Oct 2012, failing to which they
will take legal action. On 11th October i called customer care again to raise the complaint and get the reference
number of my request, now they are claiming, i have never raised a request.
It looks like, Airtel is cheating it's customers. This behaviour on Airtel part is absolutely despicable and
I would like adequate compensation for the ordeal that they put me through since the past 5 months.
Please look into this and inform me what next steps i need to take.
