[Resolved]  Airtel — AIRTEL DTH WRONG COMMITMENT

I am writing you and warn u how a company like AIRTEL doing wrong commitments with their consumers
Please read all details from beginning to till date. On dated 18/5/2010 time 16:30hrs. I called at 12150 and enquired about DTH PLAN & TARRIF, at other end the person I spoken with is Pritam Singh he told me all details and when I told him that I will think and let him know later on he told me that since I am existing customer of Airtel, he has a very good DTH offer @ Rs. 999/- with 4 month subscription free of 162 channels. I found this very attractive and asked him how to proceed he told you can pay right now through Credit or Debit Card and I paid money thorough my ICICI Credit Card as he instructed me online. After payment he given me transaction ID No. 8844814 On 20/5/2010 the system installed at my place. Ok as he promised 162 channels, I found less but no complaint by me.

Now I am mentally tortured when I receipt a message from Airtel DTH on dated 12/13 June that your balance is such and expiry date is 18/6/2010 immediately after receiving this message I started contacting to Airtel customer care numbers i.e.198, 121, and 1800…. ……..And lastly one gentleman told u contact at 12148. I spoken on 14/5/10 on this no. and narrated my entire story at other end some one told me we will resolve this within 24 hrs or so. I could not note down his name on this date as I am confident because I am using Airtel mobile so long I never faced any problem.

On 15/6/2010 I again called at 12148. on 12:05 hrs and talk with lady named Meenakshi all details then she taken on line one Mr. Alfred he again listen my all story and said will get back on evening. Till date waiting his response.

On 16/6/2010 time 14:00 hrs. I call again at 12148 then phone attended by Shashikant I asked him about my query he disconnected the line. Then again I dialed a lady named Vaishali listened all and said she will talk with her senior named Vinayak he also spoken with me and listened all and assured me he will definitely get back in the evening of 16/6/2010. Till date waiting his call.

Then on 17/6/2010 I again called at 12148 on 13:10 hrs. and other end in gentleman Parshant I asked him plz connect me to Vinayak he hold me some time then said Vinayak is busy on another line he will call u later, no response till I am waiting his call.

In this regard I emailed them 4 times from dated 14/6/2010 at [protected]@airtel.in. Only auto response that we received your query that’s all. Still waiting for reply. Nothing from email and nothing from customer care.

All whom I spoken said we will check your recording with Pritam Singh, nothing happened till date.

My only concern is that they are a Company not a shopkeeper who made false promises then backs out. But if they behave like this then AIRTEL WILL BECOME HISTORY SOON.

DTH — free channels have bocome less

dear sir/madam,

i am using dth service for enjoying tv and radio channels one year ago. in the meantime, the number of the free channels (specially bengali) have become less.

i pray for giving some of bengali channels in dth service.
