Airtel Digital Tv Dth — After-Sales Service hopeless
This is in reference to the harassment I have been facing since last 6 months for being a loyal customer of Airtel family for last 8 years now. I had bought Airtel Digital TV 3 years back (Customer ID [protected]) and was quite happy with the same. 6 months back my standard definition set top box got dead and I had to purchase a new one since I did not have the guarantee period on. The engineer came and installed it, but it worked only for 2 days before it went dead again. I was harassed by engineers walking into my house and it was quite inconveninet for me since I couldn't concentrate on anything else.Later they told me to buy a HD box since there was a new scheme to upgrade at Rs. 1,250/-. I again spent another amount and got the new box though I had received wrong advice from their engineers that it can give good clarity even on non-HD tv. The box was good but later started getting electronic disturbances on ETV Gujarati, ETV Marathi & B4U Music channels every 10 seconds.
The senior most person visited my house with his engineer. Today I have changed and bought a new LED TV worth Rs. 40,000/- as they mentioned even my TV was bad. I did everything they told m and also they did everything but could solve the electronic disturbance problem blaming it on other factors which they always have done though they have atleast visited my house 10 times or more.
Today also ETV Gujarati and Marathi are having sound disturbance every 10 seconds on my LED TV set.
This is what Airtel gave me for being their loyal customer...
So please be careful.

The issue has still not been resolved as the validity hasn't been extended as yet. The scan copy of amount paid has already been emailed to you but till date there is no response from airtel dth side. Please don't post wrong info.
