Airtel Digital TV — CustId - [protected]: Installation Problem | |||
Hi I got Airtel Digital TV installed at my home around 3 weeks back and my Customer Id is [protected]. I was not at home at the time of installation and my dad got it installed. When I returned, I found that installation was not done correctly and set top box was not at all placed properly. I called up engineer Rinku who did the installation and told him about this problem. His response was that the problem will be fixed shortly but no one turned up for one full day. I again called him up but he disconnected. I tried contacting him several times from different numbers but all his promises to fix the problem turned out to be false and no one turned up. Even his behaviour was strange and I was amazed to see the bad behaviour of this engineer from a company like Airtel. However, I called up Airtel Customer Care and inspite of logging my complaint multiple times, no one turned up. I even tried calling local supplier numberr given to me by customer care but in vain. I just received only one thing and that is false promises. Below are all the complaint numbers which I logged in due course: 4277629 4291721 4397427 I am sorry to say that Airtel Digital Tv has the worst and pathetic service which I have encountered till date and it really is a nightmare. I have also emailed to 'dthnodal.[protected]@airtel.in' & '[protected]@airtel.in' but still no response.
The day I purchased the set top box, the shopkeeper told me not to buy it and instead go for Videocon DTH as Videocon has good service. It was very unfortunate that I went ahead with Airtel.
How can I have my money back?
