[Resolved]  Airtel DTH HD Box — Set Top box hanging problem

Dear Sir
I have bought the Airtel HD box on 16-12-10. My Customer ID is [protected]. With in one month i have noted one problem that my STB got hanged up with in 10 minutes after switching ON the box. At that time nothing happened that was buttons in STB and remote were not working and there is no audio and video on screen. I already raised two complaints regarding this issue. But your service persons just came and RESET the STB. But still (10 months) the problem continues. I called but they told to reset the box. Nowadays it happen twice in days

I am also an electrical engineer i think that RESET the STB is not a permanent solution. I think there is an electronic problem inside the STB. Please depute one service engineer to correct it permanently or replace it immediately. Now the box is under warranty. Kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

Today airtel dth customer care sent one service person for replacement of STB, but the box is old one(it was serviced box that already used by some other customer before) there are so many scratches, damages and bend in the top panel.

i have been facing the problem from the date of purchasing and the seller told me that it has one year warranty, but the service person came today told it has 6months warranty only and now u are in out of warranty and he said to recharge with Rs.750 amount.

Why they are cheating the customers for selling the failure products. On the date purchasing onwards i was not watching tv more than one hour why your service team not suggest to replace STB in the time of warranty period .Why they done simply resetting the box.
Kindly replace the new set top box immediately otherwise take back your useless set top box, i am not satisfying with airtel services.
