[Resolved] Airtel — Fraud of Security Deposit amount, False information and pathetic service | |||
This is complaint with respect to Fraud of Security Deposit amount, False information and pathetic service provided by both Airtel Gallery as well as 121 Customer Care service. Against: Airtel Gallery: TELESOFT, Aditya Nakoda Enclave, Shop No. 11, Ground Floor, Opp. Bigbazar, Sinhagad Road, Pune 411 030 Contact Person: Rohit Total "8" Accounts sufferring. Incident: I have been PREPAID Airtel user for last 8 years along with my family. In month of February 2013, I got a call from above gallery from one of the lady, who provided me information about new plan converting prepaid to postpaid. Then two Airtel authorized agents visited our house. The information she provided and the agents provided is as follows: 1. CUG Family plan for all 5 old prepaid numbers + 3 new postpaid numbers in my family with unlimited free calling within the group; and few extra offers as 100 SMS free, airtel to airtel 10 paisa per minute, 149 minutes calling free 2. Plan of INR149/- per month per number 3. Security Deposit of INR400 per number 4. Security Deposit is "Refundable" after 3 months of service usage Also this is also conveyed by Customer Care, Welcome call as well. I trusted them and paid INR400 * 8 = INR3200/- with hope that above mentioned plan will be activated; NOW, this is what happened in reality: 1. NO CUG Plan activated 2. Plan of INR249/- is activated; instead of INR149/- where GPRS is added, which is never asked for and is useless. 3. few VAS got activated without notice 4. Security Deposit of only INR200 got sent to Airtel as per customer care guy told. Contacted Customer Care for 21 times (each time got different answers and false promises, and every time there was no past records about my follow ups, mismatch between info given by Airtel Gallery and Customer Care), visited Airtel Gallery 13 times (Each time wrong information, false promises, mismatch between info given by Airtel Gallery and Customer Care, systems not working, security deposits got up wrong by Customer Care, Spelling Mistakes etc etc] Its been more than 3 months of by now, still not a single concern or request got resolved. The bills are still getting generated on wrong plan. Getting calls to pay bills. Service has been stopped on few numbers. This is really pathetic and ridiculous and highly irresponsible and unacceptable behavior. Unfortunately, it is "Airtel" brand, which is going to be degraded.
