Airtel — I AM BEING HARASSED AND TORTURED BY AIRTEL

This is an earnest request to you to save me from the harassment by your
esteemed organization. I left India on 22nd Aug for US and made a request to
convert my Postpaid number to yearly rental plan, as I wanted to continue with
Airtel when I return back. The customer service person took my request over the
phone, gave me a request no. and communicated that it has been done-from next
day (which eventually happens to be start of my next billing cycle), I will be
under the yearly rental plan.
After that request, they again initiated the process for submitting documents
and mail chains. They raised two more requests
45603219 by Jesintha Fernandes(cust care executive) WHICH was supposed to be
resolved by 3rd Sept. But when I wrote on 6th Sept to know the status, they
replied again with a new Service Request No. 45746162 by Aakash Gupta (cust
care executive).
In short it took 29 mails- 15 days- 3 official service requests from your
organization just for one small request and still the issue is unresolved; that too of a customer who is willing
to utilize the services of your organization in future by paying a yearly
rental even when he is not in India.
Every time, a new customer care executive attends the issue and it all starts
from the scratch- Same template driven mail, one more new service request and a
promise to resolve the request within 7 days.
If every service request is bound by an SLA, I demand an explanation what
happened to my earlier service requests. I am totally frustated by this torture
meted out to me by your organization. I have faced the same earlier when I
moved to US in 2010 and tried to move the same to yearly rental plan([protected]
- This is the same number which I was using then as well as now).
Request your urgent attention into this.
