[Resolved]  Airtel Karnataka — Not deducting hello tunes charges from my bill

Airtel people started hello tunes and 3G internet services on my mobile phone without my notice or request for the same. This was happened in the month of June and July both. A message just popped out saying that these services are started on your phone. I really exhausted myself in telling them that don't start anything without consulting me and if started, should not reflect in the bill after my complaint. But, still I have been getting them in my bills.

For July bill, I have been charged for both Hello Tunes and 3G Internet services. I called them up and told them that these services were started without my notice and hence, these charges should be deducted from the bill generated. They noted down my complaint and then I got a call on the next day that only 3G internet charges have been waived off. When I told them that why not Hello Tunes charges were taken care of? Then they said that the complaint was just raised for 3G internet service. I said then raise it for hello tunes also. So, they said that on one bill, we can entertain only one complaint. That was disgusting...

I just want the Hello Tunes charges to be deducted from the current bill amount only. Otherwise, I will not pay the bill and will disconnect my airtel connection also.

Never ever had a look at this complaint. I called them madly and shouted like anything. After that, the charges were deducted. The same problem I faced for consecutive 3 months and I finally disconnected my mobile number because of that.

Airtel — deductions with regard to caller tunes

I am receiving regular message regarding the deduction of Rs. 30/- pm with respect to the activation of a callertune when I am not interested in the same.

AirTel — not using but still charged

i have taken airtel connection with no.[protected] only recently. hardly i used it for 1 month but due to some reasons i stopped using it. i paid Rs.500/- against the bill of Rs.470/- in the month of Feb '08. the same time i told the airtel executive to cancel my no. because i am not using it. but they sent a bill for Rs.1379.02 as on 7.4.2008. had they told in feb '08 that they want a written request for cancellation of connection, i could have given it. DO YOU THINK IT PROPER TO CHAGE RENT EVEN AFTER MY REQUEST TO CANCEL? Please do the needful and cancel the bill immediately. Otherwise i may be constrained to go to a proper forum for justice.

AirTel — Charges in Bill

When i purchased my Airtel postpaid sim somewhere around 3rd Jan, 2008, i opted for STD pack as per this pack the Airtel is supposed to charge Rs. 1 per STD calls. The said pack was deactivated on 2nd April, 2008 without any prior information (nor does the executive while purchasing told me that such pack is valid for 3 months) but the company is still charging me Rs. 50 for the STD and i am being charged Rs. 20.40 ps for each STD call. Whenever i called the customer care No. i did not get the satisfactory reply, on the contrary Airtel says that they are ready to waive Rs. 50 since it is favorable to them but i am a sufferer as i believing that i will be charged Rs. 1 for STD call i have done many calls which costed very dearly.

Airtel — not receiving my july bill

AirTel — Hello tunes service

my mobile no is [protected] from Airtel. There is a hello tune copy service in Artel by pressing * star button on any handset to copy the hello tune of the callers hello tune. if this star is pressed accidently the service deducts 20 Rs. immidiately without any information. its a case of 420 by airtel. without any confirmation if a button is accidently press while calling a user is pressed the company take 20 rs from the mobile user this is wrong without our permission. I have previous complataints about this company I want to remind you again Im very much frustated by this mobile connection its fraud. we will not pay for these fake facilites. I need imidiate action on this mobile service and there fruads over the consumers. how many costumers accidently press * button

airtel punjab postpaid connection — advance payment not deduct from bill

i have a postpaid connection with airtel punjab 16 feb 2008 my no is[protected] i give a chq to rs 1900 in which 1000 rs as 2 year advance rent and rs 900 as advance payment for my coming bills company not deduct rs 900 from my bills i complaint so many time

I too have faced the same problem. A couple of months back, I called my friend. I have accidentally pressed the * button. They charged me Rs 50 instantaneously[30+20]. When I contacted those people they said the money cannot be refunded. Today for the second time they have robbed me rs 15 on the same basis. I could'nt even reach those people. Currently I am planning to open up a new website on this regard and may even file a law suit if this continues..

i am user of airtel u.p (west). and my no is [protected]. i got msg from your side that u download a game from airtel wap and cost of 125Rs.i got this msg three times and add to my bill but i am not download any game from airtel.i talk one of your executive and he said to me that 375Rs deduct from your a/c but no money is deduct from my a/c. today my a/c is 440Rs(approx) and 375Rs is for game so my actual bill will be 440-375=65Rs.
please take some action for this query

Airtel Karnataka — Poor/No Signals at our apartment

We are not getting Mobile network signals of Airtel since 1 year back. We have raised several complaints to the Airtel customer care regarding the issue, but no response we got from them. Infact there are 20 Airtel connections with in the same apartment, and none of them are getting proper signals. It is the situation to stand in the Balcony when we need to talk to any one. The following are the few Tickets we raised individually from the mpbile number [protected].

I don't understand, why airtel can't place a booster in our apartment. After I escalate it via my company Mphasis an EDS company, I got the call from the customer care, but as per them the tickets were resolved as there is no problem with the signals. But none of the person reached us in the apartment, and we don't know whether they checked the network on the road or with in the apartment.

4 times I called to airtel customer service executives all the 4 persons told me same thing that server is down and I called 4 times to them at different-2 times and it is for just 30 rupees so you can imagine that how much satisfactory nature ur executives have and after all these things they are sending massage that i[censored] r satisfy then pls send yes or no so I have left the idea to get back my 30 rupees and further also I dont expect such held from ur side.

I have charged for the matrimonical. So I want o cancel n even ididnt activated then too I got charged for the same.

Airtel Mobile — Billing of hello tune

Today one lady called me from the no.[protected] and told me that i have selected a song for my hello tune.So, they will deduct 60 INR from my balance.But i have not done this and my mobile is only used by me. Please do the need full.My Mobile no is [protected].

On dated 13 Jan 2010 i received a message from AL hellotunes that you have been charged Rs.30 +15 for hello tune , strange is that i have never asked for such a service ,Airtel executives are not helping me at all .Airtel is known to generate extra revenue of 400 crore for hello tunes only by this method. Customer dont even knows he has already payed 45 Rs. This is a cheating by company people. kindly help me & others like me. save us from cheating of Airtel.

AirTel — deducting for service not asked

airtel deducts a fee for providing cricket scores even when service not asked for. the onus seems to be on the customer to unsubscribe the service. hence i[censored] do nt read the message money is automatically deducted before u realize. secondly customer care service provided is a farce as u get only a recorded machine. i hv repeatedly tried to stop this but each time they put it back and deduct my balance.pls take action.thankyou
