There is a mistake in my bill and I have been trying to rectify it since a long time but to no avail.

My internet plan was upgraded 4 times in the last month (Billing cycle:[protected] to[protected]

The initial plan was of 300Mb for Rs 100

Then I upgraded to 1 GB at 250 for which Airtel charged Rs 150 extra as the difference and provided the extra data

Next upgrade was 2 GB at 450 for which Airtel charged Rs 200 extra and gave me 1GB worth data

Same was the story with next upgrade 3 GB at Rs 650 for which you charged me RS 200 extra and gave me 1 GB worth data

So as per the pattern whenever I upgrade to a plan, Airtel charged me the difference between the new and old plan and provided me whatever extra data I can have based on the new plan


Now at the final upgrade time I updated to 4 gb @ 750 plan, for double assurance i asked the custmer care executive that it will continue as the old trend of charging the difference and giving me the extra data. As in this case as I have already consumed 3 GB data for 650, I would be getting 1 gb data more and the extra cost would be Rs 100. I was replied in the affirmative but somehow I was given 1GB data but charged Rs 650 for this transaction.


I have raised this query multiple times with Airtel customer care and have been promised call backs and escalations but nothing has happened so fat, so pls let me know what is to be done.

Airtel — Cummulative Bill

I am using Mobile office facility of AITEL for a monthly cahrge of 450 Rs which comes in every month bill. Now for the last 3 months airtel has not chare for this service and in this month bill they have clubbed it together and charged for all the 3 months. Which is heavy on my pocket. I talked to Shweta Shah ( supervisor) of call center. She said airtel cant help in this matter and i have to pay the bill in full amout. Since I have used the service, i requested to pay the payment partly.

This is request to Consumer forum to look into this matter urgently and help me.

i m here posting my complaint about my wrong bill .. my postpaid no. is [protected]. I have not made any call and any sms on this no. [protected] yet i have charged much for that. I request to the higher authority or management to please check my bill as i m using this no. from 6 months & i have not faced any prob. before that. i want to be a regular customer of airtel. I have changed my bill plan with effect from November but when I received my December bill, there was old bill plan was mentioned with higher charges. I complaint them and they told me waiver amount over phone. I paid the bill. But in January bill same thing got repeated and again after complaing, they told me waiver amount but I told them I have no calculations as how this amount arrives and I asked them to explain them but they themself told me that they will soon revert but nobody came back to me.
In feburary bill again they sent me wrong bill. And I was offended. I have spoken to their Appeleate offer Mr. Sudhir Pathak also but even he doesn't know the calculated amount.

Plz advise 'How can a company ask to pay certain amount without telling the customer its detail'. I have spent 4 months in fighting with this company and I am really tensed.

I am constantly getting calls and sms from them to pay the bill but nobody is ready to justify me how they are asking me this amount.

I have already paid one month of amount trusting on them that they would have calculated it rightly but now I have lost trust. I cant pay them the random amount that they are asking me!! My bill amount is getting cummulative of 3 months but I cant pay them such a high amount in one go. Nor they justify the amount to me. Plz Help!!

AirTel — unlimited bill from airtel

when they told me about the plan they dint tell about the plan clearly but now they are giving very big bill for just 15 days they have given 463.40 and now for next month the unbilled account is2620.50 kindly do something regarding this
I received the bill for Rs. 8588.00. I have been complaining about inflated bills for past few bills. They have raised the bill of the time period when no one was at home. I am complaining every day, no one seems to be interested in understanding the problem. I was charged for the period, when i have requested for shifting. They dont even block the number during the time period.

Customer Care team and billing team never listens to customers and they dont understand any thing. I have written to nodal offices too, and that didnt even solve the purpose.

I am Sushma, I have changed my prepaid [protected] to post paid (199) corporate plan with Rs.35 std card, I am having 3 numbers in my CUG group [protected],[protected],[protected].

But in my bill i got Rs.900 extra with std Rs.1.25/call, and all CUG numbers are got billed.

So kindly waive off this amount and include above mentioned numbers in my CUG group, activate Rs.35 STD plan.

The number in question had been shifted from company name (Kamyab Infotech Pvt Ltd) to personal name (Neha Jain).

However, by mistake the bill plan was also changed the previous bill plan was DAP 300+Rs 35 STD add on pack.

The DAP 300 plan is:

monthly charges Rs 335/-
local out going Rs 0.50/min(any number)
std out going Rs 1.00/min(any number)
local and std sms 0.50/sms(any number)

FREE/ DISCOUNT:
300 mins local out going free(any number)
300 sms local free(any number)
The plan was changed to
The SPECIAL FIVE PLAN 249 (which was noticed after the bill was received)

Please explain why the bill plan was changed without ANY prior intimation, to Ms. Neha Jain, or Kamyab Infotech Pvt Ltd.
Kindly resolve this issue ASAP, for your convenience

I have calculated for the bill[protected] peroid of 1/09/09 to 22/09/09 acc to DAP 300+ 35:

Bill Plan Charges Rs 245.00.
(335/30= 11.16 so, 11.16 * 22= Rs 245)
Call Charges local:
to airtel mob 172

total = 427
so 427 - 300 (discount) = 127 * 0.50 = Rs 63.50.
call charges std:
to airtel mob 126
to other mob 12
total = 138
so 138 * 1.00 = Rs 138.00.
local sms:
to airtel mob 114
to other mob 190
total=304
so 304 - 300 (discount) = 4 * 0.50 = Rs 2.00.
national sms:
to airtel mob 185
total = 185 * 0.50 = Rs 92.50.
sms international:
to other mob 1 * 5 = Rs 5.00.
sms others:
3 * 2 = Rs 6.00.
mms:
9 * 5 = Rs 45.00


hence total charges are: 245 + 63.5 + 138 + 2 + 92.5 + 5 + 6 + 45 = 597.00
tax details:

service tax @ 10% = Rs 59.70

education cess(on service tax) @ 2% = Rs 1.19

higher education cess(on service tax) @ 1% = Rs 0.59


TOTAL 59.70 + 1.19 + 0.59 = Rs 61.48.



HENCE GRAND TOTAL IS Rs 597.00 + 61.48 = 658.48

I have calculated for the bill[protected] peroid of 23/09/09 to 22/10/09 acc to DAP 300+ 35:

Bill Plan Charges Rs 335.00.
(300+35)
Call Charges local:
to airtel mob 162
to other mob 143
to fixed landline 45
total = 350
so 350 - 300 (discount) = 50 * 0.50 = Rs 25.00.
call charges std:
to airtel mob 135
to other mob 51
total = 186
so 186 * 1.00 = Rs 186.00.
local sms:
to airtel mob 92
to other mob 194
total=286
so 286 - 286 (discount) = 0.00 * 0.50 = Rs 0.00.
national sms:
to airtel mob 225
total = 225 * 0.50 = Rs 112.50.
sms others:
7 * 0.7 = Rs 10.00.
mms:
12 * 5 = Rs 60.00
gprs:
1*0.60=Rs 0.60


hence total charges are: 335 + 25 + 186 + 112.5 + 10 + 60 + 0.60 = 729.10
tax details:

service tax @ 10% = Rs 72.91

education cess(on service tax) @ 2% = Rs 1.45

higher education cess(on service tax) @ 1% = Rs 0.729


TOTAL 72.91 + 1.45 + 0.729 = Rs 75.09.



HENCE GRAND TOTAL IS Rs 729.10 + 75.09 = 804.19


total amt of both the bills are: 658.45+ 804.19 = 1462.67

So kindly rectify the charges and do correction for the bills. and then send the right charges.

I have given the request to cancel my boardband connection in the month of MAY, And its was accepted by airtel but still they are sending me bill of every month. When i have complain about this there customer care executive never give response.

AirTel — wrong bill again

Dear sir,

I activated a plan of (148) net on phone on 8 june at my phone by harpreet singh, he committed me your net charges is free in all browsing surfing or downloading at all things is free on phone.

But i saw my bill airtel charged me 500 aprox on the uses of net charges. mr. harpreet told me all the things are free on your phone.

This time i am facing some problems for the payment of my bill.

So i request you to please hear my conversation to mr. harpreet at the time of activation my plan and told me why i pay more.

I have activated my GPRS Rs.98 for 2GB plan in the month of September 2010. I have got mail from Airtel Executive for confirming that. Airtel disconnect the service every 6months. Then I again activated it on Feb.
But this time Airtel people activated the plan with effective month from October 2010 instead of Feb2011.
I was under impression that my plan will lapse in August. But since it has been wrongly activated from October 2011 it got deactivated early. And I was charged heavy because of that.

1. How can you discontinue any plan without sending notification/ SMS to the user?? Without plan GPRS is very expensive and cost in 1000s.

2. Instead of sending multiple reminder for the same I am not getting response from the airtel.
I mailed at [protected]@in.airtel.com and also to CorporateCustomer.[protected]@in.airtel.com. But all in vain.

All above conversion was through mail.

Somebody please take a not on that and solev my issue.

Airtel — Refund of Rs 228

Hello Sir,
My name is S.S.Shukla working in Indian Air Force Maharajpura & my no is [protected]. I am using Airtel sim for 12 yrs, facing a lot of wrong deduction by airtel. Many times the amount has been credited in my main account. The details of my complaints which is not yet at all solved & waiting to be solved.
(1)Reference no is RJKDE[protected] on 10/10/2011 at 10.42am.
(2)Reference no is CLAWE[protected]on 10/10/2011 at 07.36 am.
(3)Reference no is CBDMO[protected] on 26/9/2011 at 12.26 pm.
(4)Reference no is RDREG[protected]on 9/9/2011 at 13.59 pm.
(5)Reference no is CBDCC[protected] on 9/9/2011 at 13.57 pm.
Also I have recharged of Rs 18 of GPRS plan for 3 days in which downloaded 14mb of application for which the airtel has deducted Rs 226 from my main account on 10 sept2011 or 12 Sep 2011 at 11pm.
If this continues I will compile to file a case against Airtel in Consumer court to refund Rs 228 the entire amount deducted by you just for no reason the customer is suffering a lot. I want my entire amount to refund now waiting for prompt action from you soon.

This is to inform you that I have cheated by Airtel and wrongly charged by them of my GPRS usages. I was an loyal customer of Airtel from last 5 years and was always promoting too in my offices and friends to adopt the Airtel only still they have high call rates.
Recently I have suffered a lot from Airtel for network issue. Every time I was getting SMS form every one that you are having one Missed call from so and so numbers. My Boss, colleagues, friends and family members always used to complain for keeping my phone in not reachable mode. I have complained a lot in customer support and not got any solution till date. Forget this now coming to Major issue.
My Number [protected] was suspended due to nonpayment of Bill of Rs. 2717 rupees which I had paid on 5th of May 2012 and got my services restored. My Bill date is of 8th of every month to 7th of next month. I have got my bill generated on 7th of May and have got SMS on 9th May that my bill is Rs.617/. Till that date everything was fine. On 10th May 2012 morning I have got an SMS that my unbilled amount is Rs.10000+. I was shocked and contacted customer care that how far this can be possible they have reverted sir we have logged the complain on billing department and our team will contact you back. Have not got any solution on same too. After few days I was getting SMS that you have used huge data so please pay Rs. 2900 for using uninterrupted Internet services. Same I have also informed to Airtel customer care. Finally my services have been barred again on 21st May 2012 of Internet. I have asked the same to customer support and Airtel ARC too they just guided me that I have used 5 GB of data in just 13 days.
My question is How is it possible to use 5 GB data on phone with 2G speed in just 13 days specially in this 3G world. I have just activated my Internet for checking mails and other stuff and never got chance to consume more than 1.5 GB data in any means in last 2 years on this network. I was finally waiting for Bill which I have received on mail and found that I was wrongly charged in many time intervals in which I was even not turn my GPRS on. I have Goggled the same and found many users have also made several complains on Airtel for wrongly charged for GPRS.
I have got bill of Approx 5000/. Which is not used by me. Please help to gain my faith in Airtel again.

My last day of bill payment was 31.05.2012 and i cleared my dues on 31.05.2012. I'v got the bill dated 31.05.2012 but the airtel service centre updated the bill payment late on 06.06.2012 which was 6 days later than the due date.. My mobile no is [protected], i am using Airtel Post paid plan 125/- rs rental.
My issue is i have activated 3G plan 250/- rs for 1 gb) in april month. In that month my bill was 1251/-, i have paid tatal bill and 7th may 13-3rd day of billing cycle i have deactivated my 3g plan and activated unlimited 2g plan under 199/- pm rental. They gave meassurace that within 4 hours my unlimited 2g plan will be activate.

After a couple of weeks i realise that still 3g plan is activated on my monthly plan. I have highlighte this issue to the customer care and there seniors regarding the same before the bill generate cycle. But invain. They have not taken any action, with lot of calls, follow ups, still my 3g is activate, since last 3 months my request is pending and my bill is increasesday by day. I m using 2g net as i requested and they supposed to provide. And the charging me for 3g and also on high rate as my limit is 1 gb as per there plan anfd my requeste pan i unlimited.

Kindly suggest
My airtel mobile bill for this month is wrong in favour of internet used earliar i have payed rs.2300 in september month.Please solve my problem.
