I was in the Plan CUG 298 which offered me 400 MB free data per month.
Last month I received a bill of amount 2271.09/- Dated 21-Sep-2013 . After calling the customer care for several times regarding the clarification of the Bill regarding the Data, as there was no response, I told that I will not pay the bill till Airtel gives me the explanation.
What happened actually was one day I sent a mail with 15 mb attachments. But as Airtel has capped the size at 10 MB I could not send the mail and more over Data has been consumed over the entire night and nearly 700 MB was consumed for one mail. Now they are saying that they could not waiver the Amount. Why should I pay 1800/- for one mail and that is because of Airtel's Mistake. I tried to explain the situation every time I call and they just don't care.
As I moved to another location I disconnected the Number. So I also gave a alternate number but they did not even call on that and sent a mail saying as they could not reach me (Obviously because Airtel disconnected the number) they will proceed legally.
Even after all this I called the Customer care giving my alternate number again but again to listen to all sorrys but no help.
Please help me resolve this issue. Also they already have Rs.500/- as my Advance I gave before getting the connection. I am willing to pay 200 or 300 additional to the 500 advance I paid if needed. Was this information helpful? |
