[Resolved] Airtel / Postpaid Mobile — Wrong billing in postpaid mobile | |||
My airtel No. is [protected], regarding the bill generated every month since Jan 2012, there is an ampunt of Rs. 99 that is being charged under “Value Added Services” as “SMS – Other”. Each month I have to invest my time scanning and checking the bill and then call up Airtel Customer Care and get the amount reversed subsequently. Do you expect the customer to audit the itemized bill every month and ask you to provide compliances for the same? Each time I call up and complain regarding this, the customer care executive assures me that this mistake will not occur in future and for the last 5 bills I am still facing this problem. In the first 4 months Rs. 99 was charged for some ‘Games Club Subscription” which I had not activated & in the recent bill generated on[protected] Rs. 99 is charges for some “full song MP3 download”. Any of such services were not used or activated by me. This is not a complain for only Rs. 99 but to highlight the poor controls for monitoring the processes at Airtel. This experience is incredible for me in the last 10 years of association with Airtel. You are spoiling your brand image not only with me but with all customers who I come in touch with. Only a reversal of this wrongly charged amount will not be a solution this time. I will escalate this harassment to various authorities and will exercise all my rights as a consumer. What is the penalty you are ready to pay for such poor customer services in an industry which is so driven by customer satisfaction. I hope you too believe that “Customer is King” for any service Industry in today’s cut-throat completion environment. Seems Airtel just wanted to reach up the pinnacle and has no vision to maintain itself as No. 1 telecom Co. Hope you do the needful as I have done my part of it, as of now.
