[Resolved] Airtel Prepaid — Regarding the mobile number suspended and alloted to the other customer | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, My self Shaik Imamuddin I am from Korutla Karimnagar District. AP. I am the old customer of Airtel since 2004 I was using the number [protected], it has the validity of life long and a balance amount of RS 65, due to some personnel issues I was not using the number for not more than one month After a month when I shifted to Airtel I was shocked to see that my Sim card is rejected and later I contacted to airtel customer care regarding this matter they said the number is issued to the other customer. How can they do this to me if I have a sufficient balance and a lifelong period of validity I had not used it by some of my personal issues and i had resumed to the same Airtel. Please help me in this aspect I need the same number back at any cost please suggest me to whom should I contact and Is there any legal procedure for this matter to have the number back. I was continuously contacting to the customer care office, also I personally visited to the airtel office located in Hyderabad but there is no response. When I contacted to one of the appellate at [protected]@airtel.in they said that "We regret the inconvenience cause to you. We would like to inform you that the Airtel Mobile number has been deactivated on 09-FEB-2010 due to non usage of the number and it has been given to another customer. We regret to inform you that this number can not be given back to you." How can they do this to me, they said that the number deactivated on 09-Feb-2010, but I had got a message on 23 Apr 2010 which is still in my inbox the message states that" Pure water, clean water, fresh water, sweet water, healthy water...Kent water. Don't believe us? Get a Free demo at your doorstep, SMS KENT to 5616111 now. " and at that time my account has a balance of RS 65 and a lifelong validity. I had registered the complaint in the month May(after a month) to one of the customer executive on 121 service. but they did not respond to my compliant so, is it my mistake. I have the clear records on my side so Please help me in this aspect to get the same number as earlier or after a period else if the existing customer to whom you allocated my number if he/she wishes to stop the services can you confirm me that you will re allocate the same number to me so that I can wait because I need the number back at any cost.
