      i am sajmil from kerala, my mobile number is [protected](Nokia N70).I had two complaints about airtel gprs connection in kerala.1.Browse Using Airtel Live or NOP->
      1.Browse Using Airtel Live or NOP->
      I am using nokia n70.But I cant browse the sites Using Nop or Airtel Live.I get these error msgs
      ""Your request for a service could not be fulfilled. Please try again or contact your operator if the problem persists."" and ""Gateway received an invalid response from the upstream gateway"".when i check any wap or www sites(Except live.airtelworld.com) i got these error msgs.A site is displayed whenever i refresh a site more than 5 times.I call the customer Care, But i am unhappy with their Responce.its very difficult to browse, wasting time also.so pls remove these problems immidietly

      2.Migrate from Gprs to Edge ->
      In kerala circle Airtel does not provide the edge, while IDEA, RELIANCE, BSNL, TATA& AIRCEL provide edge connection every where in kerala.But airtel provides only Some Major Cities Kannur, Calicut and Cochin.etc.I am a regular gprs customer of airtel every time call the customer care but they told me it will come few months.Now we are looking for 3G but airtel Still provides only 1G.So pls Migrate from Gprs to Edge everywhere in kerala, other wise airtel should lost lot of customer from kerala

          I had lost my phone and had taken a new sim from Airtel on 18-Jul-2009.
          They had told me my outgoing calls will be activated within 8 hrs.
          But today is 22-jul-2009.
          I had called the Customer Care more than 100 time in this period.
          They give me inconsistent information.
          Some one say my outgoing services are on, some say its barred. Each time they say it will be activated within 4 hrs.
          I had talked to their senior officials too. But no one is responding and my outgoing services are not yet working. They put calls on hold for 2-3 mins as they wish and often hang-up without responding. Inspite of repeated calls no one is willing to do their duties and keep forwarding the request from one person to other but without any use.
          Is there any way that I get a compensation for the harrasement caused by AIRTEL to me.
          I beleive they have harrased many people in same ways.

            my airtel no.[protected] is not activated since last 2 months, i have given 5 times address proof.ur agent has not verified my address and given into negative section, after that ur office incharge is saying that they are unable to turn the no.into positive.they are not refunding the money or not a new number instead of that. if my no. will not get active, i will not do any payments of my bills.right now my sim has no network and it's registration has failed.my alternate no. is [protected].it is reliance postpaid.

              I am facing a similar problem. i have an AP Air tel Sim. i am roaming right now and am at Bangalore right now. i can receive and make calls and receive sms. but sending messages yields an error. when i go for the details of the outgoing sms error it says "check your network service provider." My mobile no. is [protected]. Hope u can resolve this issue.

              My Outgoing messages are barred and i am unable to send any messages. The message displayed is 'Message barred'. Could you look into this please.

I talked to HR Dept. many times but they said "they have forwarded to PF Office, apart from this they don't know further". I am very my bothered. Because I am very much needy.

                  I have applied for a post paid connection in jodhpur. With a lot of bustle & jostle they have provided me with a connection. My cell number is [protected]. During taking connection I paid Rs. 500/-.After few days, suddenly I got a message that I have used Rs. 1050(appx.) & so I have to make payment otherwise my connection will get burred. Inspite of making a pyment of Rs. 500/- they did not gave me connection. Once again on 21/07/2009, I have paid Rs. 500/- then also till now outgoing is not activated. The channel partner guy Dhanraj Sharma and the Airtel person Kishan both are not even receiving my calls. They are not at all caring for my problem. I work with a company in Sales and mobile connection is indispensable for me. I have an alternate number of West Bengal that is [protected].

                    They installed Airtel Tower next to my gate in front of the house(neighbours compound wall). I lost a good tenant who was staying at the house because of airtel tower.

                    In our building 2nd floor the air tell tower has installed, we had aggreement with Airtel, Airtel licenced to Indus Towers, now they were running Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and other services in the same tower but they are giving the same rent - adding load without informing, we are worrying about the building, they have not fix properly - errection control, they are not ready to getback the wasted(unused) bateeries and antennas, they are keeping all in the upstair, so that in rainy times we are worrying about the building, technical peoples are not ready to listen our words, please suggest us what we can do inthis situation.

                    We have leased to Airtel to fix their tower and enjoy our terrace space on rental basis since 7 years, 3 years back vodafone and idea peoples came and ask to use the same space but we refused, Airtel peoples illegally allowed to install vodafone and idea, they are running since 3 years without our knowledge, we have contact airtel through service engineer since feb2009, later we understand that those are false numbers not from the right person, meanwhile we have sent register post too to the Airtel office coimbatore, someone opened the cover then returned (reason: no one accepted that letter), after a month we sent notice(thro our Advocate) to Airtel Corporaret office Address which has mentioned in our agreement(Delhi), we have given three months notice to vocate - reason illegally operate other telecoms at our space, four months near to complete no response even no calls from Airtel, they are hurting a lot to us, Airtel nor response nor come to speak with us, poeples are coming they are telling like we are service engineers from airtel but no proof if we willing to sent mail to airtel there is no contact with us, nor they responding to our queries, we can't stop their service because it is a public sector company but they are illegally operating service in our building.

                    we have agreement only with Airtel.

                    we don't know howmany house owners are suffering from Airtel like this issues - they are afraid to open their mouth eventhough we also take this decision after a long thinking.(since 7 months we are consistantly contact service engineers but they cheated us - they have given wrong numbers - means they will give one number and say he is our area manager - later we come to know he is some third person who is not related to this business - they cheated consistently and hurt us a lot, Airtel not interested to give their contact numbers nor they behave genuine with us. now instead of airtel, Indus company is contacting to us and telling that airtel handover to indus - but Airtel havn't inform to us legally, officially.

                      this is regarding not receiving of bills on my airtel postpaid no.[protected].

                      I have been not receiving the bill since last 6 months even after repeated complaints made to the customer care executives. every time I'm being remided to pay the bill but the airtel is least bothered to post the bill. more over my outgoing service has been barred today even after repeated requests made not to suspend the service. Every time I call the customer care either I'll be put on hold for a long period or the executive make false promises.

                      Every month I'm being charged Rs.100/- excess for the late payment of the bill. I want to know that how can I pay the bill without getting my usage details.

                      I'm very much fedup with airtel and even switched to idea and the no. matching to that of my airtel.

                      And I have decided to approach the consumer forum for the same and also not to pay any outstanding bills.

                        dear sir / madam,

                        i ma holder of mobile no. [protected] want to request you to refund my rs.30/- at earliest shich was deducted as hello tune service charges . actually i received call from the company office sayting that since i am the lod customer of airtel co i will be given free hello tune service so i told if its free then download thelatest NEWYORK film song of katrina "mere sang remix" then that person said ok n i got sms from the co. that it is sucessfully done but rs.30/- charges had been deducted from my mobile wgich was not supposedto be deduted if this sevice was free . it means this airtel co, . is chitting the customers like this dirty practice . i have already told to deactivate this hello tune sevice n it is done on same day only the 15th f july 2009 . so why just for one day rs.30/- have been deducted from my mobile it means you have misinterpreted me the old customer of yours n no response to my complaint sent till now

                        so i again request you to take action aganst this matter fast n send the refund in my mobile a/c no. mentioned above

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          I have been using airtel prepaid for last 3 years. The call cost was normal and last year airtel change my plan to life long. Now my prepaid validity is up to 2010. What happen was last week my sister recharge my card with Rs.5 for the offer for life long. After that recharge my traffic value has been changed. Like previously I use to send International SMS for Rs.3, But now its cost Rs. 4.99. Which I enquire with their customer care they told that it will cost only Rs.4.99 only. But I don’t need this plan change and I want my previous plan. So please tell me what to do to change my plan to previous existing plan.

                          My name is Febin Lal .I am from Kerala. Now I am studying at Coimbatore(GRD College of Science). I am using an Airtel prepaid card here. while taking the sim my plan was "students plan" which takes Re 1/day. Inorder to change this plan I send plan changing code STUD365 ,but those were not working as it tells " invalid keyword". So called Customer care and told the problem. They told to send it again and again..but no use..after two week they told the complaint is send to TOP and with in one week the problem will be solved...but even after two weeks the problem is not solved.....
                          I am also having a Kerala Airtel sim([protected]),but I didnt face such a negligence from them,when I faced such a problem ,it was solved with in 24 hrs.
                          I suggest airtel (Coimbatore)to change the name "Airtel customer service "

                          My mobile number is [protected]. It is in students plan and valid upto 4th May 2011. Its Tariff is 39 paise Airtel to Airtel, 59 paise for other mobile, Rent daily Rs.1, 365 sms free. Please change the plan as any of the following.
                          1) Airtel to Airtel - 20 paise. other mobiles -40 paise. No rent. Sms may be charged
                          2) mobile to Mobile - 39 paise. no rent. SMS may be charged
                          3) Airtel to Airtel - 10 paise. Other mobiles - 50 paise. No rent SMS may be charged.
                          4) Airtel to Airtel - 10 paise. other mobiles - 30 paise. Rent 1 rupee per day. SMS may be charged.
                          5) Mobile to Mobile - 20 paise. Rent 1 rupee per day. SMS may be charged.

                          Since I am a longstanding airtel customer, Please give me any of the offer mentioned above.

                          Airtel told me, they will have to charge my account Rs 250 to convert from post paid to pre-paid. Ironically, they want to me to come to their store and follow all the procedure (photo, id proof, address proof) like new account opening. Why can't they transfer my data within their own company ? If they can not, why they charge any fee. Coming to their store (15km away) is already inconvinient. On top of theat they charge fee and still ask you to follow lengthy process, because they can not manage their business within. Too bad, I am waiting for number portability.

                          I have been trying Since Sept. 2009 to Change my Existing Plan to Some other Plan with Same Mobile Number . But Due to lack of attentive service from Airtel i am unable to do so and always being directed to some new Representative leading to further Delay and Confusion in service.

                          My Existing Plan is very costly due to which i have to pay heavy Bills.                           I am using my airtel no for a the last 7 years in tamilnadu. for the last two months i am trying to change my plan to 1 paise persecond. but not luck on that. I called the customer care a lot of times and lot of times they closed the case telling the problem is solved but actually not.                           I had called Customer Care on 7 feb, 2010 for cancelation of two lanline S.T.D P.C.O connection. Both P.C.O number is 45070112 and[protected]bill plan 800 per moth).Customer Care Executive saied to me sir don't cancel these connection i changed your bill plan.i agree to change my bill plan(change bill plan 349) only on one connection and another connection i want cancel.change bill plan number is 45070113or cancel number is 45070112. Customer Care Executive informed me that the bill plan changed until next billing cycle.i paid all bills both number.on 9 feb. my S.T.D P.C.O 45070112 canceled but dn't chane my bill plan on this number 45070113.after this problem Customer Care Executive behave not good he not give me right information.now monthly bill comeing 800 after change plan.
                          I hope my request will be considered and please reply me as soon as possible.Hope that you will take right steps within a small span of time and oblige me.

                          well known service provider air-tel had messaged me that " recharge with 24 rs. and you will get full talk time and call charges will be reduced to 50 paisa for one year ". so i had recharged as said , on 23rd or 24 th of march , but up till today i haven't got my mobile tarrifed . and still i am investing 1 rs for per call .                           At that time i was a regular customer my monthly recharges goes upto 400-500 rs, but now i used it only for incoming calls only i newer used to recharge it because of daily rental and very much hike in your plans, i[censored] have to change the plans then why you are providing the name Friend plan, friends plan 1, and such other as there is no difference between them Except the name but mostly the call rates are same

                          simultaneously i am using Uninor which is very cheap as compared to Airtel, where Monthly 300 rs of Recharge is sufficient @ the recharge of 198 i get 1000 min U2O & 2000 min U2U & 500 MB Net data & sms pack valid for 1 months.
                          which is the best so why you cant provide such a plan like this

                          Now I really need to change my plan so that I can call my friends with no daily rental.

                          Since I am a longstanding airtel customer this is my right to ask you for the mentioned plans for me, Please give me the offer mentioned below plans which was earlier.

                            I have accidently subscribe to www.tashan.com.But it is not stopping. Airtel customer care says that unsubscribe it from its site by clicking Unsubscibtion but on the site there is no option for unsubscribe due to it my balance is getting deducted so please help me to get rid of this service now.

                              I 've been a patronized customer of Bharti Airtel, Visakhapatnam, AP.My mobile No: [protected].
                              On 19-07-09 mor, I wrongly entered my PIN in my Samsung S3310 while enabling security settings in my mobile.I contacted 121 through my friends mobile for my PUK.The IVRS guided me to send sms to 121.I sent sms and waited for quite long time.Again tried 121 and talked to customer care executive and came to know that such sms should be sent to new number some thing like 54329(i did not remember exactly) but not to 121.I got my PUK through the customer care executive after verification of my personal details. I noted down the PUK and tried in my mobile.
                              On my 1st attempt, the system in my mobile says "PUK wrongly entered, you have 9 chances left".I tried another 4 times with the PUK number given and could not access my SIM.My mobile was showing 5 chances left for trying PUK. As I was aware that If I try more than those chances, the SIM gets completely blocked and I have to go for a duplicate SIM.As that day was sunday, I visited Airtel Lobby, Visakhapatnam on 20-07-09 morning.The executive on the desk noticed the number of chanced to try PUK on my mobile and she herself checked the PUK in her system and tried herself on my mobile.She tried till only one chance left and changed my SIM in to another hand set and tried that chance also.The handset was displayed the message that the SIM was blocked.Then she asked me to apply for a duplicate SIM by paying Rs 75/- with proof of identification.
                              I told her that its the system problem which did not recognize the PUK number entered by me as well as by herself and Airtel should held responsible for that.She did not accept my argument.As my number was not available for more than 24 hrs, I wanted it immediately and paid the said amount with my Id proof.New SIM is given to me at 1130 hrs on 20-07-09 and it was told that the activation will be done with in 4 working hours.My new SIM was not activated till now[protected]hrs ) even after nearly 24hrs.I claim it as a system failure and Airtel must pay back the amount paid towards the duplicate SIM and correct their system.They must understand the inconvenience caused due to the inactivation of my SIM.I mail this to the cocerned Airtel executive also.

                              Airtel Prepaid Connection — sim Blocked -amount paid not activated

                              my cell no is [protected], procured prepaid connection from AIRTEL dealer in trichy tamilnadu. It was working for a month after words top up is requested. but for no resaons the sim is not actiavted and unable to either make out going calls or able to receive calls or not even able to send SMS

                              It is requested either to activate my SIM orask the AITEL to refund the amount paid by us immediately
                              As I visited Airtel Visakhapatnam Lobby for knowing the reason for inactivation of my new sim, the executive told that she faced some system problem and could not do and waiting for me to turn up so that she can inform the same to me. If dont visit the Lobby for few days, they still wait for me which is incorrect. she attemted the activation requested in front of me and requested me to wait another 4 working hours for activation. Atlast, i could see my mobile working after 30 hrs of application.
                              The happy thing is that the Delhi customer care executive called me and told that the amount equal to the new sim ie Rs 75/- was credited to my account and gave the email id for future communication.

                              AirTel prepaid mobile — SIM not blocked

                              Dear Sir,
                              I have lodged a complaint at service centre of AirTel on 05/06/2010 regarding blocking of my SIM
                              (pre paid ) No. [protected] which has stolen on the same day. The service centre has given me the
                              complaint no. 557911after asking some qeestions & stated that they will block it after 4 hours.
                              I am surprised to see that even after 2 days the SIM is working, by this act of irresponsibility the service
                              provider helping anti social elements/ terrorists.

                              Can you please help me to block this SIM immediately .

                              Airtel Prepaid Mobile SIM — sim blocked wrongly

                              dear sir,

                              i am holding a airtel prepaid sim [protected] apart from two other prepaid sims of the same company.due to fault on the handset i could not use this mobile for quite some time (about 2 months) Today i.e. 1/12/2010 i recharged the mobile with Rs.35 and this was done through easy recharge at 3.59 pm. since i have not received the sms confirmation, i contacted the airtel at 198 and i was told that the recharge was successful and i can use the phone. But to my surprise i came to know that the sim was blocked after the recharge was successful. I have made a number of calls to 198 but they could not sort out this issue stating that this is a peculiar situation which they does know as to how to sort it out. then I was connected to a customer care officer (Ms. Kavimani) who assured me that this will be sorted out and i will be given a call by 8pm on 1/12/2010. But after 8 pm whenever i ring up 198 i am getting some sort of recorded msg and the call is not getting connected. My question is how can they effect a easy recharge if the sim is already blocked. However, I request that i should be given the credit of Rs.35 and the sim number has to be unblocked as i have given this number to many of my contacts and taking a fresh sim is very unlikely. For your information i am usiing only airtel for the past many years and I am very much disheartened about this whole affair handled by the customer care people of airtel.

                              Request an early solution.

                              from your feedback, i guess no one from your end have taken your instruction as it is evident quote: Since you haven’t written in yet, we trust your issue has been resolved unquote: if at all some one had contacted me i hope you should have received the feedback from them. I am really unable to understand the meaning of your response. For your information no one has contacted so far. I have given my contact details only with a hope that some one will take your instruction and wholeheartedly try to resolve.

                              Im rama raju using airtel number [protected](prepaid) staying in Nathayyapalem(BHPV post), Visakhapatnam-12.

                              I have already called to customer care, but no one is responding and the cal is disconnecting everytime.

                              Nearly from 6 months im not getting proper signal using this airtel number.
                              Im getting daily 4 unnecessary business calls, discontinue these services immedietely.
                              I want to activate do not disturb service on my no [protected] from last six month but operators not responding to my request and activating some other services on their own without my approval which is disturbing me as wel as my main balance i have already called coustomer care on these mater but still i have not found any change in their service.

                                I recently bought a postpaid connection from Airtel ([protected]) here in Thane. Since Airtel was upgrading their systems, I was told that initially, I will be on prepaid for a couple of days and then I will be moved to postpaid. That was done on 19th Jul 09. After that I have been trying to activate GPRS by sending AGPRS to 121 and am consistently receiving message that "We are unable to process your request now. Please try again later." This after sending over 20 smses to that number at different times of the day.

                                If I call customer care, the IVRS goes into a loop asking me to enter my mobile number again and again in different languages and never actually reaching the service menu.

                                This is very painful. Request Airtel to respond ASAP.

                                Postpaid Connection — request for gprs deactivation

                                  Dear Sir
                                  I was holding postpaid airtel connection bearing number [protected] My customer relationship no. is[protected]. This connection was activated for 2 years under advance rental plan system on on 15 05 2007 vide receipt no. 1734 at Pratham the franchise of Airtel. The validity period of this plan was up to 19 05 2009. After that I have neither applied for renewal nor given any consent to extend the connection. I understand that without the permission of the customer the plan would automatically get terminated no bill would be levied to the customer. However I am getting the bill for last two months of this connection which I am not using at all. I have been issued two bills as under
                                  1 Bill no.[protected] for the period of 02 May to 01 Jun 2009 for the amount of 144.00
                                  2 Bill no.[protected] for the period of 02 June to 01 July 2009 for the amount of 298.18

                                  I sent the mail to the nodal officer of Airtel regarding this. As per him the services has been extended further & you will have to pay the bill for this period. It is mendatory to give written request in case you want to cancel the connection. I cannot understand that hoe a service provider can extend his services without the consent of a consumer
                                  Please look into matter do needful.

                                    Airtel Broadband Services - Wrong Broadband Package
                                    We realized that Airtel Representative have given us Wrong Broadband Package when we received customer call informing broadband usage for 3-4 days costing around 10 K +. We requested for Unlimited Broadband Connection and not for Limited Broadband for which excess charges are applicable if it exceed the Limit. Defintely Something have gone wrong at first place. This is fault of Airtel Representative who have not listened properly. We are suffering because of this.

                                    Second Incident after registering complaint at L1 support, Call Center Representative changed our plan to Unlimited and promised/commited to adjust the bill in next billing cycle. But again we've been cheated. Plan changed but AMOUNT still there.

                                    In short, there have been lot of history generated during followup with this issue from April, 2009, and It created massive emotion among my family when Airtel Retention Department, Okhla (several call from Rajeev Tel No. [protected]) behaved in Abusive Manner and Humilated my family. They started judging us as FRUAD but we paid the BILL FULL in everytime untill this issue popped up. How dare he can say like this?

                                    During this period, there have been lot of calls registered and closed without contacting me and without my consent. As I'm out of India, I requested them to give the No to contact them directly if they dont have facility to call ISD. Or Else wait until I am back to India at end of this month.

                                    My earnest request to please have patience, MONEY might be MORE important for you than Person's Emotion and Respect. But Please charge fairly after communicating to me and not to my Family as Airtel have already cheated them by giving wrong Package and again after giving false committing for adjusting the bill.

                                      Hi,

                                      I am in Switzerland these days and would be here until 16th Aug, 2009. I bought Airtel World Calling Card from IGI Airport worth Rs 500. The vendor showed me rates from Switzerland to India as Rs. 9 per minute, which meant 55 minutes talking time.

                                      Now, when I tried, it shows only 10 mins of talking time ie Rs 50 per minute.
                                      This is cheating. When I try to call Customer Care mentioned on the card by pressing *0, there is no support from them, and they deny to inform me the rates and ask me to call India Customer Care.

                                      I have no clue how to reach Customer Care as there is no information on the website also available in regards to this.

                                      Please help me resolve this at the earliest.

                                      i had purchased world calling card worth rs.550 . in that it ws mentioned that calls to australia will cost rs 3.5 per min but still it charged rs 10 per min
                                      it is not working at all
                                      airtel should take the responsibility of not cheating their customers by providing fake world calling cards..if it is not able to deliver the service then atleast stop providin the services

                                        I had purchased 3 Prepaid Mobile Phone SIM Cards on 27 March, 2009 from an outlet in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh (H.P) bearing the following numbers:

                                        PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS URGENTLY AS NOT ONLY I AM NOT ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH MY CHILDREN WHO ARE STUDYING IN INDIA, ALL THE CREDITS WHICH I HAVE LOADED IN THE 3 MOBILE PHONES ARE GONE!!

                                        i am srinivasan my mobile number is [protected] I have been using the airtel no for the last two years aproximately,
                                        i have recently recieved a offer in my airtel offer saying that " recharge for RS 50 and recieve a talktime worth RS 75. this offer is only for YOU" on the 23rd june 2009. I have called up the airtel customer cars excecutive and enquired about this and they informed me that i was eligible for that offer, and i asked them " how many coupons i can recharge for and they replied me that i can recharge for any number of coupons i wnat to just that it should be in 50RS denominations and the extra offer talk time will be credited in to the account within 24hrs. believeing this i have recharged for 8 number of coupons and waited until 26th jun and the etra moeny was not deposited. then i called up the customer and asked about this issue and they told me that the problem will be resolved within 48 hrs and i will have to recieve a talktime worth 253.60RS adn it will be credited... i had waitied until what ever time they told me and then called up again to inform that my problem was not solved. they still gave me 48 hrs time..a nd this went on like this by exteneding and re registering my complains again and again and asking me to wait for days toghether.

                                        Also since i was callin them regularly to see when my problem will be resolved they have deactivated the option of me speaking to the customer care and i can only send msgs to 121 services from which i will never get a reply.

                                        i have tried callin form my friends mobile and they now say that i am not eligible for that offer and they cant do anything about this.

                                        kindly do the needful to get my valuble money credited in to my account.as i am not earning and i have lost this money for a promise which the airtel customer care made ... the trust what i have in them is totally lost. i have been patiently waiting for a month and my problem is still not resolved.

                                        even if i try to speak to the customer care they ask me to wait for days and hrs but they dont do anything with rgds to my problem.

                                        Airtel prepaid mobile — Deactivation of sim after 3 months

                                        I have been issued a prepaid sim of Air tel in April 2009 BEARING MOB. NO [protected] from Bhadrak- Orissa.. The required documents were submitted on same day and there after I as using the sim up to 15th July'09. In the month of June a call was received from Air tel that this call is for verification and the questions asked were satisfactorily replied. But suddenly on 15 th July it was noticed that the incoming and outgoing services has been stopped . It as enqiured from customer care and was comunincated that the identification proof and photo has to be submitted to any Air tel centre. The said doc. were submitted on 18 July but sim was not activated . The cutomer care is not replying satisfactory answer neither the sim is being activated. It is to be requested that pl. get the sim activatee immediately. Still it has the balance of approx. 800 Rs. and also charged with power plan for 6 months (STD rates). If still the care is not being taken I will have to move in consumer court for comensation for the looses and mental torchure.
                                        Hope this complaint will be cared.
