[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid SIM — DUPLICATE SIM CARD NUMBER CHNAGED TO SOME OTHER NUMBER AFTER @ MONTHS

Respected SIr/Madam, 5 months back i lost my airtel prepaid sim and done block and transfer, later aftr 2 months i applied and got a duplicate sim card, from a local retailer who bribed Rs.200/- and i paid the amt. and took the sim card since it was emergency, but after a month my number has changed from [protected] to [protected], how is this possible ? who is the persn responsible, the retailer said he can't do anything, i want this retailer to be warned from a right person from airtel, this is a fraudlent activity. i can provide this retailer name and address if any person from airtel contacts me about this, because of this inconvenience from my numbers getting changed, i'm going to lodge complaint against airtel, as it's a matter of prosecution.

Airtel prepaid has cut my Rs 10 /- balance on 18th of sept 2009 wihtout any call. my no is [protected].Thank you.

That i have obtained a fresh consumer connection number [protected] in the Airtel Company some one year before. But recently one month before my airtel number above mentioned has been closed with the remarks that you have obtained two number in a single name.

That after proper verification i approached before the Airtel company at Sonawar in which my name and fathers name has been identified as same, but the address is identical. So that this reason is substituted while closure my airtel number.

Being a old man senior citizen it is very unfortunate that my number has been closed without any proper verification and further investigation.Nor the airtel company have forwarded any kind of message for the same.

Now it is requested that necessary instructions may be forced to the airtel company for smooth functioning of the company after having proper verification and other formalities.
