[Resolved]  Airtel — Services not provided as promised and advertised

I am paying 250 rupees and more for 3G services on my phone round the clock but the 3G network is available only sometimes; all other times it is 2g network on my phone. This is false advertising and selling services to customers with fake promises.

Here are all the Service Requests that were raised in the past few months by me not not resolved. And have been closed on their own without verifying with me.

I may have missed a few. Nonetheless I am sure you get my point.

Airtel has now barred my outgoing calls and sms and so called "3g" services on my number since I have not paid bills for two months.
I have not paid the bills deliberately and have been asking them to resolve their 3g issues and not bill me for services not provided.
Yet after two months they keep chanting the same "airtel support person came to your house and fixed it".
Now why would an airtel support staff need a visit to my house if it a cellphone issue and the network is not available everywhere in the city.
Airtel is harassing me to pay bills every second day with incessant calls and messages. But nothing about the service requests I have raised.

Please address this issue.

Airtel Ltd. — service is terrible

I am using airtel for last 15 months but the customer care service they had provided is terrible.
i changed my home in june 07 and informed them to change my address but they didnt. i called them atleast 20 times for the same issue but it didnt worked.
also a few months back i recieved a sms regarding ebills that u can get ur bills on your email and i signed up for that and still i have not recieved any ebill moreover they say that they dont have my email either but i had given them my email id on customer care and also msged to 121 as per the format they told me many times.
at last after paying my bills for 4 months just by the info i get on sms i didnt pay and they barred the outgoing without even contacting me once.
i dont know what for i am paying every month? what are the charges on my account?
Also i had asked them to deactivate GPRS,MISSED CALL LERT, AIRTEL LIVE AND CALLER TUNE on 31ST OCT and still recieving miss call alerts and on 11h oct i again recieve a msg that ur monthly rental for caller tunes is deducted from my account.

also i lost my simcard on 26th oct 07 and asked them to block my simcard.
then on 31st oct 07 i bought a new simcard for 225 rupees after roaming to all their outlets from SOUTH EXE to DEFENCE COLONY to LAJPAT NAGAR to HAUJ KHAS and was told that it will be activated in 1 hour but it took almost 20 hours and more than 30 calls as most of them were diconnected by thier representatives.
in every 4 calls, 3 calls are diconnected by them.
Using airtel i have faced too much of mental torture humiliation and tension.
(i have not mentioned my mobile no as i am not sure weather its safe or not plz email me for any further info.)

Bharati Airtel Ltd — Unsolicited phone calls.SMS resulting in additional charges to me

I hve a mobile connection prepaid from Airtel.[protected]from Kerala Circle.Since3rd week of June I have been in Mumbai and have on 3/4 time requested them NOT TO MAKE anycalls which are of promotional nature .All such calls and SMS sent to me are being charged.I am thefore once again requesting NOT TO CALL ME OR SEND SMS TO ME.

Airtel — too much advertise

Dear sir, i have been receiving useless service in which I am not interested, over and above without my knowledge Rs 10 has been deducted for every week. please stop all these non-sense. my no is [protected].
all these ads are like flamboy, cricket etc

My airtel dth id no [protected] is not working from last 3 days. I have logde a complaint on 18/11/10 complaint no 4508547 the issue was not solve and the complaint was closed. Again I logded the new complaint on 19/11/10 complaint no 4518919 but issue is been pending till today. The person on the toll free number Mr Summet & Vinay gives telephone number of Engineer who are not lifting the mobile phone & some numbers are out of service. I have paid for annual subscription but today I feel that I have done a mistake for purchasing annual subscription for airtel dth in PCMC area. I request the Empire Estate chinchwad Flat holder to confirm the service & then buy airtel dth because they doesn’t fulfill their commitment. I
I request the concern officer to take immediate action for the same.

Please look into this.

Bharati Airtel Ltd — Services to airtel Mobile Number 9937790104 Barred without any Informations

Respected Sir,

I Swapnarani Nayak D/o- Duryodhan Nayak of Budhukunia ,mahanga salipur,ctc,have purchased an airtel sim having mobile number-[protected] on[protected] and for that i have submitted all the required documents i.e Voter id card xerox copy and my photo ,this connection was disconnected after 7days due to what i dont know when i complained to office they once again activated all my services and told wrongly ur services was barred but once again after one month my sim services are barred for what pls explain me ? is this type of services airtel is giving to their customers? if this is the matter then please take some necessary actions against this telecom company,if i will not get satisfactory response from airtel within 2 to 3days then i will file and FIR against airtel and proceed to court claim against mt loss, in my family 9 members i.e 9 airtel connections are being used in my family i will instruct all of them including my friends circle to port out to BSNL immediately and airtel will face a great loss in future for this type of activity with his customers.
