AirTel — Plan Changed without consent
My plan of Rs 299 turbo plan and Rs 98 for 2gb free was changed in my third month of service. The 2GB for Rs 98 plan was removed without my consent. My bill for month 2 shows I have Rs 98 plan but in month three it was removed. I have contacted customer service and the nodal officer and the only answer I get is that the charges are valid. There is no explanation how my Rs 98 plan was removed. They claim that as Rs 299 plan was activated, and hence Rs 98 plan was removed.As a new customer, I signed up for both the plans and confirmed I was on the right plan by seeing the bill for month 2. As month 1 billing cycle was 7 days there were very few details.
My service request number is 37852732 and it is nearly a month and nothing has been done. I paid Rs 2500 for the last month even though it was disputed as my outgoing call facility was cancelled.

Airtel Mobile Post Paid — Change of Plan without consent.
I purchsed two connections Post Paid Nos.[protected] &[protected] and my wife purchased one connection in her name No.[protected]. All three connections are for the internal use of my family ie myself, my wife and my Son.
At the time of filling the application I had opted for Rs. 199/= Plan but without my consent the Selling Executive changed it to Rs. 399/= Plan. The Sims were activated on 14/08/2008 and
I was shocked when I received Welcome Call from Airtel, since the calling executive tried to confirm the plan and I clearly stated and lodged my protest that I am not willing for Rs. 499 Plan.
To my surprise within 10 days I received bill for Plan 399 and was told to pay. On enquiring about the complaint lodged at the time of Welcome call they said You pay this bill and the charges would be reversed in next bill. I did not agree to this and dropped 3 cheques for 3 connections @ Rs. 200 each because I have no faith on Airtel about reversal of charges. BECAUSE FIRST IMPRESSION IS LAST IMPRESSION. I was cheated on the very first relationship step.
Kindly enquire in to the matter as my connections are hardly a month old and we are not mobile addicts and use it judiciously, only to be in touch and not for gossips.
