Airtel Top Up / Recharge — Airtel is cheating its customers

I had done the recharge through internet for Rs 100. on 1.1.2009 which I have been doing for a long time now.
I got an SMS confirming the success of the recharge. but the value did not increase on checking *123#. Today I called up customer service and they informed that this amount has gone into a dedicated account and the validity is expired on 4th Jan 2009. To my surprise they informed that this amount is lost and cannot be used. This is pure cheating from Airtel and they also inform me that before doing the recharge I need to by myself check the offers and it is not Airtels responsibility to inform the consumer that such an offer will be used. For me personally Airtel is a big cheat and they earn money by cheating innocent people of their hard earned money. This company should be audited and punished for such attrocities being carried out. Earning money by cheating should be stopped immediately. The public should demand an explanation on such behaviours. they cannot take their customers for granted... A very dissappointing consumer of Airtel.

God should punish this company and the promoters should be taken to task by appropriate law It is frustrating but cannot help. Their customer care is also pathetic.

I want free call, gprs..earn money.
Airtel is a big cheat...whatever it offers ..it never stays on to its offer...cheats with the customers by sending such sms that cost them hard...unknowingly the money get deducted from the account...and u end up calling customer service..and their customer service is really pathetic..which cannot be described in words. These people dont even know what they have to do on the request made by their customers.I[censored] really want to keep ur consumers happy...u shud keep ur offers valid for the valid period atleast. u guys are very clever when it comes to earn money...but let me tell u...deducting money from the innocent people will definitely gonna take away your business...when a huge appreciation is given to other vendors.

Offer good scheme...do follow it...make ur consumers happy...not making them say that...oh my god airtel is getting disgusting.!!!
