I have a airtel broadband connection which I wanted to keep in safe custody because I was moving out of my home for 2 months due to rennovation. To apply for the saem first I called customer care of airtel and they misguided me to an airtel office for the same. After reaching the airtel office I came to know that the procedure was to pay some safe custody amount at the main hub of airtel relationship centre. I did exactly what I was asked to and paid an amount of Rs 400 for a month. I was given a request number 33786718 and I was told that my request has been processed successfully. After a few days, I was surprised to see that I have received a bill of Rs 1100 for the same month. If my account was kept in safe custody then how come I was billed for the same month. This is highly irresponsible behaviour.
I am attaching a copy of the receipt which I had got after paying the safe custody amount.

They told me that the amount is Rs 550. They want me to go to their office again and pay the difference amount. This is highly irritating. They told me that its their mistake but they canot do anythign about it. I will have to bear the inconvinience. They did not even apologise. Their attitude is as if they are serving for free. AIRTEL has sadly become a MAFIA.
