We went to big bazaar on the 25 of January, 2009 to purchase two airtel digital TV sets. During that time your airtel representative had advertised us your airtel digital TV set scheme {representative’s name is Ujjal Borah}. We wanted to buy two of your airtel digital TV sets, so we asked him about we going to get. he said he would contact the “airtel” higher authority to enquire about the scheme. half an hour later, he said if we purchase the two digital TV set up box, the price of the two TV sets would be Rs 1099/ each. He would also deliver Rs 250 each in the account of both the sets {that is Rs 500}
On the 27 of January, 2009, evening, your engineer came to install both of the digital TV sets. he came to install only one disc antenna for both the set up box. We asked that if he had installed only one antenna for two set up box, what is the profit we are Going to get. I said that the airtel digital TV sets which i had purchased were on two separate bills{big bazaar bill no 57/t63, 58/t63}. We came to realize from your engineer that my ID is 1 and because of this they had connected as a primary and secondary connections. I was quite surprised and said that if I have purchased the two digital TV sets on two separate bills, also for two separate families. so it is quite difficult for monthly recharge combinely. then your engineer connected me to your sales executive Manager ”Mr. Tridip sharma” {phone no [protected]}. then he said that the big bazaar had made my id 1{which i was unaware of} and received a package of Rs 500/ for set up box. He said to take up the package for one month, then he said he would make me two ID separately for two connection . So, for one month, we enjoyed the package.
Suddenly on 4 of february, 2009, the connection was snapped. When I Confirmed on toll free no, to my uttermost surprise, we came to know there were no such type of packages of Rs 500/ free for one ID, two digital set up box... We complained to big bazaar, after which the fourth floor Incharge “Mr. Abhisekh” {phone no [protected]} said it was total cheating and asked if we wanted back the money or wanted to compromise. I said I wanted my two separate IDS for two separate families, which is according to my separate bills. He connected me again to Mr. Tridip sharma. Mr. Sharma said all this was due to miss- communication between airtel and us, also already he had communicated with airtel head office through e- mail and there is no such type of package available for big bazaar and he said only to recharge. He also promised to solve the problem within two days not only for setting up two antennas but also for two separate IDS.
After recharging i have got my channels back, but according to his promise He has not taken any further steps towards installation. On 7th february, 2009, the whole day I tried to connect Mr. Tridip sharma, but he did not receive the phone. At last, in the evening his sub- coordinate attended my call and said that he knew my problem from Mr. Tridip sharma. He gave me advice to complain to the toll free no and say my complaint, After which they (toll free no) would give me a complaint number and against this complaint number they would solve my problem. But things happened opposite my expectations when they said {member of the toll free no} that there are no such facilities available. and for two ids I have to pay separately.

I expect your quick response and reply regarding this matter and take necessary solution immediately.

AIRTEL DIGITAL T.V.'S CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE IS VERY POOR. HOLDING TELEPHONE FOR MORE THAN FIVE MINUTES PER CALL TO CUSTOMER CARE ULTIMATELY FAIL TO CONNECT A CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE. I HAVE TRIED THREE TO FOUR TIMES TO GET A CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE, BUT ALL I COULD GET IS SHEER DISAPPOINTMENT.COMPLAINT REGISTRATION THROUGH E-MAIL IS ALSO SEEMS TO BE INEFFECTIVE. MY COMPLAINT VIA E-MAIL ON DATED:07.03.2009 & 13.03.2009, THOUGH ARE DULY ACKNOWLEDGED BY CUSTOMER CARE TEAM, HAS FAILED TO SETTLE MY COMPLAINT. SIMILAR BAD EXPERIENCE I ENCOUNTERED, WHEN THE SET TOP BOX STARTED MAL FUNCTIONING, MY REPEATED E-MAILS, PHONE CALLS AND EVEN E-MAIL TO THE NODAL OFFICER, U.P.COULD RESOLVE THE PROBLEM AFTER MANY DAYS. DEFECTIVE SET TOP BOX WAS REPLACED. NOW, THE REMOTE DOES NOT WORK TO BROWSE BETWEEN GENRES, IT IS STUCK ON FIRST SLOT-ENTERTAINMENT, SO CHOICE OF CHANNELS IN 'ENTERTAINMENT' ONLY COULD BE VIEWED THROUGH QUICK VIEW OPTION. NO REGARDS TOWARDS CUSTOMER'S COMPLAINTS EARN BAD NAME TO AIRTEL. AIRTEL AUTHORITIES SHOULD LOOK INTO THE MATTER TO PROVIDE HASSLE FREE SERVICES TO THE CUSTOMERS.
I bought airtel phone and 3 digital packages, the custommer service is really terreble, bloody ridiclus, they only think they are smart on business. Although they are on a very demand on the business, they are very good in frustrating and damaging customer relations.

Every one says oh, Airtel is very big companny and very good, but i am dealing with my phone sisce 2 weeks, in the end i lost 300Rs. i have to throw 2 digital box to bin, because they very proudly says, oh, u can do every thing on internet, but i dont know how much they are aware of that internet registration process. I try to fill my date of birth but i can only add the birth month and year, not date, without date the process dosent qualify me to be able to use the internet to view my information or do the payments.

Guess how many poor people are suffering like me, I hope the Airtel authorities are looking in to this for improvements,
I am user of airtel digital tv. I shifted from one place to another place . I want reinstallation of the product from one month. I have already made payment but company is not giving any service against it.

Dear Sir/Mam,

I demand an explanation for the customer support provided by Airtel and also want to bring the fact that the service is truely not up to the mark. There is a big communication gap that exists in the organization. I had also asked for the SLA and also made a request to forward my call to their senior executives...but they only keep the phone on hold...and then the phone is disconnected. This shows that the organization persist with a big hindrance.

No one is there to solve the issue...under mentioned are the problem that I am still facing with AIRTEL DIGITAL TV.

My subscription Id is [protected] / Bangalore.

I made a complain on 9th April 2011 morning and the time fixed to resolve this issue was 5 pm in the evening of the same day. But neither I received any call from AIRTEL SUPPORT TEAM nor i got any call from the technical team or any technical person who visits for resolving issues.

Again i raised the issue with customer care on the same day i.e 9th of April 2011, the concern executive said that the ticket is still open and the issue will be reolved by 3:30pm on 10th of april 2011. Then meanwhile i received a call from Airtel whose number is [protected]. The concern person gave me the number [protected] on which i made a call and spoke to the concern person and stated my problems. He also said that he will send the technical person to resolve the issue; but fortunately nether i received any call nor no one has visited to solve the problem.

Till 6pm i did not received any call or any SMS form AIRTEL and their concern teams to resolve my issue.

Again I called in evening of 10th April, then I got the complain registered and I received the complain number 6816701.

Today 11th April 2011, time 12:30 PM and still i have not received any message or technical person to resolve the issue.

Please try to resolve my problem ASAP.
Dear Sir,
I am very regretful to second time inform you that, regarding your service and deduction of my Balance Amount, I have to inform you that my pack monthly charge is 174/- per month, but you have deducted always 200.00 per month.
When I call to your customer care a person attn to my call Mr. Nilesh (your representative), he said to me I was booked a film once upon time in Mumbai, movie on 29th Oct’2011, but when I ask regarding details of booking, he told me, that it’s mistake from your end no booked any film from my end, and suggests me for call after 1 hour then he will return back to excess deduct money and add to my current Balance.
Second time when I call after 1 hour to your customer care Mr Pramod (your representative)attn to my call and told me that my monthly Pack is 193/- how it’s possible. I m continue said to your representative person that, I want to talk with your senior (Team Ledger) but they can’t my call transfer to his seniors and can’t help me regarding this problem.

Past 4-5 month my pack charge is 160/- per month, past 3-4 month a massage came from your end that my pack Rate has change, new rate is 158+tax = 174. Now your representative Please look in to the matter and return back my rest balance amount to my Airtel digital T.V account.
