[Resolved]  AirtelDTH — Airtel Digital TV complaint not resolved for last one month

I have a airtel digitalTV HD (AirtelDTH) recording box. One fine day the recording stopped working. The engineer came and told they need to replace the box. It has been close to one month and every day the people at airtel are telling “it will be done today”. Are these guys from other planet? Their today is so long?

Some times they ask me to insert a 4gb+ storage in the box. If i was supposed to do that then why did I pay so much for the box?

Another time they told I have to pay 25Rs extra per month to record. This is cheating.

A lot of times the customer care executive pick up call and disconnect. One day I called these ppl 13 times. This is mental harrshment.

What I infer from this behavior is that they are waiting for my warranty to get over. Because in that case I will have to pay 750Rs extra for the replacement. Airtel is getting converted to a cheat store. One time they even closed my complain. I had to raise a new one.

Still nothing happened.

Every day they call and ask the same questions, like what is the problem? Do I really need to tell the problem every day? Or airtel expects more problem with the digital box? Such a buggy box?
Every day they promise that the issue will be resolved that day.
I was also thinking of taking airtel braodband, thank god i did not take it. Previously the service of airtel was very good. But now a days its pathetic. The local cable guy gives response in 2-3 days for major issues. But airtel 2-3 weeks(Well its been more right now for me). Now i got the reason why no one in this building took airtel digitalTV except me.

Well 10.53 AM they called and told they will call me back in 1 hour. Now it is 2PM. So as per airtel one hour is not yet over.
They just call you to mentally harass.

Airtel DTH — mental harassment by engineers and not resolving the complaint

The Cable was not functioning, so i launched a complaint in call center. I received Service request no. 2588457 for video problem on 12:04pm on 30-04-10. And received no engineer. I was surprised to receive their message on 1-05-10 that the problem has been resolved. After my repeated calls (2 or 3 )to the call centre my complain was again placed(no. 2594742) i received an engineer on 2-05-10, who informed me the cable is damaged. I was informed that the cable was not installed properly. No clips were used and it was left hanging down which caused the wear and tear.
He harassed me to get the wire from the market as if it was my job. So I called back to call center, who gave me assurance and asked the engineer to get the wire from the company and fix the problem. they also assured me i need to pay no charges for the wrong installation by engineer.
But the engineer i received in the evening misbehaved. He brought no wire as he was asked. also he told me to sue to consumer court, as he was also fed up with the company. Anyways my problem was unresolved.
But next day i again received the message that the problem has been resolved. So finally i launched complaint against engineers. i was given reference no. but the complaint is still unresolved.

Worst company..... ever experenced
Fake promises.....never do anything
Customer unfriendly.....no curtesy for any call back
Do not take even if given for free...... just to cheat and fleese all.................

AirTel — complaint not resolved

Hi,
My name is Kishore. My outgoing calls have been barred 3 days ago. Some of the customer care person suggest me to submitted the documents once again. I have submitted the documents once again immediately. after 3 days when i called to customer care, they are just escaping telling that documents have not recieve. Negligence is clearly seen in Airtel people and executives, They just come with marketing skills but not satisfying the customer. Customer satisfaction is clearly not seen in Airtel as it of service industory ,

Could any of executive from airtel, please take intiative and reslove my issue.

Airtel DTH — not working from 2 month

i had made complaint for my set top box 1 month ago
but there is no reply from any executive from airtel dth
even then i call them up after 1 month ,then they told me first recharge by rs 300 then the executive will came to u
i recharge it
but even then after 1 month ,when the validity lapsed the executive not come
please see to it
