dear sir , most respectfully, i am a custumer of pnb atm service. my acc. no. is [protected].last time in the date of[protected] ,time: 18:30 app. i went to s.b.i atm to recieved money of 10000.00 . first time when i insert the cards in atm box then com. screen became blue then i thought the link was gone . after 5 min. again i insert the card in com. in that i recieved a money of 10000.00 and then i checked the bal. bal became -20000.00 in the place of 10000.00 then i call the toll free no. of the bank. i recieved a complaint no. the complaint no.[protected]. plzzzzzz inquiry $ solve this complaint Was this information helpful? | |

ATM SERVICE — ERRONEOUS DEBIT FM ACCOUNT
SIR,ON 30 JUN 09, I MADE TWO TRANSACTIONS TO WITHDRAW Rs.6000/-(RECORD NO.1611)&Rs.5000/-(RECORD NO.1612)FROM THE AXIS BANK ATM LOCATED AT 61, H.L.SARKAR ROAD, BANSDRONI, KOLKATA-700070 USING MY SBI ATM CUM DEBIT CARD(NO.[protected] FROM A/C NO [protected] OF SBI, AIR FORCE STN ADAMPUR, DT.JALANDHAR, PUNJAB-144103.IN BOTH THE CASES TRANSATIONS WERE DECLINED BUT THE AMOUNT (Rs.11000/-)WAS DEBITED FROM MY ACCOUNT.I AM AN AIR FORCE PERSONAL PRESENTLY ON LEAVE FOR SOME URGENT DOMESTIC PROBLEM.I WOULD BE THANKFUL TO YOU IF YOU KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND DO THE NEEDFUL AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.I AM GOING THROUGH A GREAT STRESS AND MENTAL AGONY.THE CODE NO.OF THE ATM COUNTER IS S1AN04514.I HAVE ALREADY INFORMED THE MATTER TO THE NEAREST AXIS BANK, BRANCH HEAD, TOLLYGANGE BRANCH, KOL-70.

ATM SERVICE — Erroneous debits on using ATM facililty
Respected Sir,I had withdrawn Rs. 2000 from Canara Bank ATM using my SBI ATM card on 15/5/2009 at around 5.18 p.m. But I could not withdraw the money. Now, my pass book shows a debit of Rs. 2000 without me taking the cash. I had filed a complaint on line with the SBI thrice. But the only response is an automated mail giving me a ticket number. I request your goodlself to look into the matter and credit my account no. [protected] with Rs. 2, 000 at the earliest.

In your case you will have to contact the bank whose ATM you were operating, giving them the account details of the Debit card you were using. Once they find the discrepency in the cash disbursement from the ATM machine, they will refund it back to the same account.
The bank should be able to trace this at the EOD settlement and the money should be back in his account. It would take sometime as Bank would need to dig out the cash totals from the ATMs and not all of the ATMs are maintained by banks.
Please be also advised to keep the slips containing the error messages handy though, in case they were required.

ATM SERVICE — Total inaction to complaint sent several times
I have sent several reminders regarding crediting back my amount of Rs. 2000 on usage of ATM facility on 15/5/2009. There has been no response. I have complained to the ombudsman. Am yet to receive any action. I wish to inform that I will be approaching the consumer forum in this regard. SIR,

BUT AFTER THE TRANSACTION I OBSERVED THE RECEIPT SHOWING 1000/- LESS. THAN AFTERWARDS I CHECKED THE STATEMENT SHOWING TWO TRANSACTIONS AT THE SAME TIME ONE OF 2000/- & ONE OF 1000/- WHICH I NEVER MADE. I BOOKED A COMPLAINT TICKET NO CC[protected].
