Stray dogs - facing serious problems

Hello,

I am a resident of Munnekolala, Marathahalli. Every day the stray dogs are attacking atleast one person. Even attacking the bikers and commuters. Working women in night and people who are on work during night shift has to face the challanges, as huge number of stray dogs would be gathered in the streets.

They also disturbing by barking like hell in the night, since there are lot of dogs the sound goes beyond imagination. This is again serious problem for kids and people who are already suffering from some illness.

I urge the Bangalore Mahanagar Palike on behalf of my friends and colony residents to take an immidiate action and save the residents from this nuisance.

In this country called India, we can kill chickens, goats, lambs etc to convert them into delicious non-vegetarian food. We can kill mosquitoes, cockroaches, rats and rodents etc in the name of cleanliness, saving property and life. But you cannot kill USELESS stray dogs because of some INHUMAN and BARBARIC group of people who call themselves as 'Animal Acivists'. These so called activists behave as if stray dogs are the only animals to have a right to live, rest all can be killed, especially in the name of non-vegetarian food. These activists are the MOST INHUMAN AND BARBARIC set of people. Either they should object to killing of all animals/insects/rodents or not object to killing of any animal including stray dogs. It seems they love stray dogs for some unknown 'private' reasons. They will not understand unless their family kids get bitten or killed by a stray dog. I think such activists are either bachelors or unable to reproduce or always stay in AC houses and offices and they do not hear any UNNECESSARY dog barking in the night. They are just BIG B_ _ _ _ _ _ _ .

Yes Agree, the dogs near Vars Notting Hill have been very agressive. Even after several complaints to BBMP the dogs have only multiplied here. Not sure what is the solution appart from being bitten fiersely by these mad animals!!

Yes, I am living at 1st Main Road, TC Palya Main road (Near Vars Notting Hill). Face the same fury of these "wild" animals every night!! They have multiplied like anything. Not sure who is the correct person to handle this. BBMP has left their hands up and do not even entertain my request!!!

I am chittibabu living in bensontowen inside ymca compund near contonment railwaystation, I live in own Residency house, iam working in deccan chronical newspaper as a reporter department, we are facing lot of street dog problem near inside airtel compound office. we enable go to house in night time 2 to 4 o clock morning time after finshing my nightshift I would request the BBMP to take some severe action against this 2 street dogs, Children can not able to run or play and walk around this area.

Hi BBMP Dog Squad team...

In Nanjappa Garden Babusapalya stray dogs have become nightmare for residents. Especially small kids and two wheeler riders take immeidate action before you have some major incident.

At night we can see atleast 15 - 20 stray dogs fighting and barking all the time.

My complaint complaint against stray dogs is ignored no action is taken till date.Iam staying at 198, 16thcross, First main, Maruthi nagar, Yelahanka, Bangalore 560064. It has become a nightmare for residents. About 20-30 dogs chase residents.Yesterday one Gentleman was bitten by a stray DOG.I would like to know why no action is taken to catch the stray dogs.No dog lover will come to the rescue of the victims.PLEASE CATCH ALL THE STRAY DOGS IN MY AREA. I live in Sun city apartments at Sarjapur Road Jn. The stray dogs population has rapidly increased inside apartment complex and this has become a serious threat to people living here especially children.
I request authorities to take note of the situation and take urgent measures to fix this problem.

Hi I am Vishwanath, stays in Shivanada nagar(Near santhosh Gym), Moodal Palya, Nagarbhavi.I usually come around odd hours at night (after finishing US calls).Everyday i face problem of dogs at night even during day time its not secure to walk around here for the children and old people. you can easily find 30 to 40 stray dogs within 3 parallel roads, its my hummble request you to take on this.

Hello Sir,

I am Mamatha, a resident of Health Layout, Near Srigandhanda kaval park, AnnapoorneshwarinagarLayout, Nagarbhavi, .Bangalore.

I have recently shifted here thinking Health Layout as an excellent and peaceful locality. But the street dogs in my area are proving me wrong. It seems the DOGs here forms group and fight among themselves.

We have elders and patients at home who really can't sleep during night times because of these street dogs. Sometimes, we really can't be in peace of mind or we can't study anything. We have more childrens who plays in the road and we are scared to live them due to this dogs. And some dogs are of rabbies. We are really worried please help us for this.

Hope you can understand our problem and will take action at the earliest.

It's not a complaint against a company — Removal of a stray dog from the Hostel premises

I am a student living in the Hostel within the premises of the institute. However, dogs in the hostel are creating a lot of problem.

1. The dogs are not at all afraid of anyone and bark at students.
2. They fight and bark a lot during night. Hence, it is very difficult for
students to sleep and study.
3. The dogs jump across the dog gates that have been put up.
4. The number of dogs in the hostel is increasing.
5. They almost follow hostelites and keep jumping in case they have any
eatables in their hands.
6. They enter the washrooms and mess up things there.
7. They enter the mess and have been found licking the tables, chairs and
utensils at few occasions. They even excrete in the mess.
8. The entire corridor in the morning is a mess with their excreta.

Is it possible to remove these dogs from the institute's premises ?
What is the procedure for the same ?
If not all the dogs, is it possible to rehabilitate one of the dogs who was injured sometime back. Its wound is open and its very unhealthy to see it wandering all over the hostel.
The dogs are usually just spotted during nights.

The entrance to the I-Life apartment at Deverabeesanahalli is full of dogs (more than 20 nos) and the residents are forced to walk in fear and also these dogs enter the apartment basement at time and do its routines.

Kindly figure it, catch them and help us walk peacefully.

We are residing in geleyara balaga, 3rd cross, mahalakshmi layout, near chapathi mane / Boomika womens clinic. V r facing lot of problems of Stray dogs. Every day to night around 30 - 40 dogs come around start barking & fighting the whole night. This is hapening every day since 1 month. Please do something for this problem & Solve.

It is true for the area where I stay(Anthappa layout, DS Palya, JP Nagar, 4th Phase).Stray dogs has been a big problem in Bangalore.At any time if one dog barks it is 20 others than comes out from nearby that can make any pedestrian to terrify.I would request BBMP to kindly take this seriously and make the place rid of dogs so that we can walk through the roads safely.

I would like to bring forth the same Concern of Stray Dogs in Coffee Board Layout - Hebbal, There are couple of Mad Stray Dogs Barking and Howling throughout the night & even during the day regularly disturbing the Sleep of Night Shift Working People giving Sleepless Nights and Loss of Sleep, These Mad Stray Dogs are attacking Vehicles and trying to attack & bite People, Kindly request the BBMP to handover such dogs to CUPA or Animal welfare organizations. Please take necessary action.
