yes this is stupidity.. i applied for a new connection with Bharat gas and it got sanctioned. When i check with the distributor they are telling that I need to pay 7000/- with some product (either gas stove or some other thing).. I told them i dont need anything except the gas connection.. but they told that I have to buy the connection with any of the product which costs 7000/- unless i have to wait for the connection until they inform again.

I just inquired about new connection in SHIVAM Gas Agency in Ahmedabad for 2 cylinder. They said they have Package of Rs. 9260, along with connection they will give Tea, Rice, Trolly, Stove etc.

I asked if I don't want this Rice, Tea and Stove what would be the cost ? they simply reply Its coming with connection (as Package).

I asked 2 month before for the same that time the cost was Rs 7600.

Is Gas price increased or other things which comes along with connection ?

What is the actual price for Cylinder & Regulator & deposit ?
