I have been having a dispute with Bharti Airtel Cellular Services for my mobile number [protected] since June 2007. This is for the network in my area of residence. I have made several complaints to Airtel in the last 12 months but they have not bothered to do anything about it. The network is really weak and a lot of residents are facing major trouble. I also managed to get the details of the nearest network tower in the area, which according to them, is placed on a residential building near my area of residence. The fact is that the info is wrong, as the building has been demolished 6 months back for re-development. The company has not sent a single technician to my house to check the frequency, which a telecom company should be doing as their first investigation procedure. I've always got contradictory info from all the people that i have spoken to in the Customer Care centre. The higher authorities are not helpful at all bcos they refuse to be available for any discussions. I have sent several emails to the higher authorities for this matter but they have not replied for even once. I cannot change my mobile number since am a businessman. I work as a consultant and cannot change my number as a lot of clients have got my number. I ahev already suffered financial loss in business as my clients are unable to reach me bcos of the poor network. I have a general agreement wid Airtel that i shall pay the bills as long as i get uninterrupted services. There is a major discrepancy in the services and they have not delivered what they promised. They have also been distributing my number to external agencies and i've been going through mental harassment. This is going nowhere as the call centre system is very protected and i dont understand what further action should be taken. Please help. Was this information helpful? |
